Sanam Johar

Sanam Johar is a dancer and choreographer from India who is known for his contemporary and ballet styles. He has appeared on various dance shows on TV as both a contestant and choreographer. He was born in New Delhi and did his early schooling there before completing his physics degree at Hindu College, affiliated with Delhi University. Despite studying physics, Sanam had always been passionate about dancing and decided to pursue it professionally after graduating. He then enrolled in the Imperial Fernando Ballot Company Institute in New Delhi to study dance under Fernando Aguilera.

After completing his training, Sanam moved to Mumbai, where he participated in the third season of Zee TV's Dance India Dance in 2011. He made it to the final of the season and ultimately placed as the third runner-up, thanks to his impressive dance performances.
