Kruti Mahesh

Kruti Mahesh is an Indian dancer who gained widespread recognition for her work on Dance India Dance and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Padmavat, where she choreographed the popular song "Ghoomar." She was born into a Tamil Brahmin family and originally trained in classical dance forms, but later pursued a degree in Life Sciences and a master's in Forensic Sciences in London.

After returning to India, she participated in Dance India Dance and was awarded the "Best Solo Performer" in the second season. She worked closely with choreographer Remo D'Souza for several years and has choreographed for various Bollywood films and actors, including ABCD 2 and Padmavat. Kruti is also an assistant director and has worked on films such as Flying Jatt. She married Tuhin Midya in 2014.
