Hard work shown from all the masters and Dance India Dance Contestants as we see the tough competition on Dance India Dance 6th March. All the contestants today performed very well and it was an entertaining episode with new Dance Styles and stunts. Jack Samules and Shakti Mohan were simply amazing and so were Binny Sharma and Dharmesh. Jack and Shakti got the performance of the day from Mithun Chakraborty. Jay again with his stupid jokes wasted a good amount of time.

Her today’s duo Jack was far better than he still Terrence praised her a lot for no reason. Terrence keep emphasizing her and highlighting her very time.

Did u see Limelight..Remo mentioned that he will not easily let the person win Golden cap…he/she has to put a lot of efforts..Remo then ur contestants will need 3-4 times more effort to get there..may be he already knows his contestants will not make it…will give hard time to others..good..keep it up Remo

u know what i hate? people who think they can read a person’s mind and tell what a person is worth just by reading their facial expressions. especially those they havent met yet and absolutely do not know. i do hope u know that people are not very good “mind readers” especially with strangers. people cannot tell what ur thinking unless u communicate. if they tell u that they know what ur thinking, they are lying cuz all they are doing is guessing.

yes but u what u do is that u create negative impressions on people. and these impressions later carry on to the voting. and this is not fair. i also can say that dharmesh is very arrogant because he never smiles when he sitting on the white couch when people from the other teams are performing. but this will be very wrong of me. cuz how would i know? maybe he is nervous for his performance or he is not exactly paying attention or maybe he doesnt agree with the comments. there so many factors that affect this. so i cant properly judge him and say what he is thinking. this is very wrong of me if i do that. and also, even if they are thinking that, we are not voting based on their character. this is a dance show and i strongly urge people to vote for the dance. again, im not saying that u dont vote based on dance…but by pointing out people’s character, u r influencing others to vote for people’s character as well and this is not fair. hopefully i havent offended anyone.

Oh No!!! But we have ALL seen variety in Dharmesh sir. The humble, honest guy who never makes any mistakes (even if he does) and who CARES if he doesn’t show variety? We all care when Shakti and Jack don’t show variety. I don’t understand, we all complain that some people do not show variety but when people (like Amar, Punit, Kruti) do we kick them out of the show. Did ANYBODY notice that even though (accordin to the poll) the least amount of people thought Punit should get out he was still at the bottom?

Dharmesh sir rarely does mistakes..His solo was great. Even Terrence admit that was a very strong performance. Donot be jealous. Dharmesh was also eliminated when he tried another form. So he is not exception. Remo did speak that u need to variety..so donot tell nobody says anything to him..
Shakti does lots of mistakes. Her solo “Na jane kahan se ae hai” was not even DID standard dance…Any small girl would have done far far better job than her. For duo dance, only attitude does not work. Need to dance..She cannot even dance on beats. Donot’ blame after all she is contemporary girl.lol

I dont know, but i think amrita is going to be in trouble, cause first, terence mentioned abt it in limelight and they repeatedly showed her falling down, second, i cudnt vote for amrita, no matter what, i kept on trying but cudnt vote online for her. I finally had to cast my vote for binny…. its crazy, did this thing happen to anybody else, who tried to vote for amrita…?
i think amrita is very good dancer, excellent. she is loud, talks a lot but she is fab when she comes on stage… nobody else cud hv done that south indian dance like her. so what if she fell down, can shakti , binny , tashu cud hv done that number. the answer is no…

Shakti’s solo was weak. In duo her steps were not clean.

By just following it over e-media, the guy does a dance-form difficult to pick-up even with professional guidance! If he tries to work a couple other dance forms, I think he stands a chance in the competition …

Saajan is a joke. If parvez can dance for parties then Saajan should join the circus. He CANNOT dance. Just go over his lil dance bits today. He is pathetic. Remo always gives him these acts that require no dancing or he is doing his same old bboying routine. I can’t take it anymore. I think I should fast forward his performances from next time…atleast the solos for sure.

I believe that either have Nikitasha or Saajan have to go. Nikitasha does not seem that she is up to par with the other contestants, she seems very limited. Saajan is good at B-boying and he has certainly proven that already. Did you guys notice that many od the dances that he does contain some same dance moves. He has to try something different. I am dying of boredom. It’s probably due to the coreography that I am so bored, because I find what he does amazing, but very repetitive.

As a foreigner, let me assure you, I am also bored out of my mind watching Saajan repeatedly b-boy. He is good, yes, but I have seen better – people with lots of stamina and energy. The same goes for any of this hip-hop and popping-and-locking; there are much more skilled dancers in those styles here in the US. Our celebrities know how to be “gansta” so these guys by comparison are not “WOW they’re the coolest dancers ever!” to me.

Punit and Tashu – remo seems to be back in his elements again. The idea was really good. I guess punit and tashu did justice to the performance although it was not all that clean. But the choreography was strong. Nice performance, hope remo brings such variety back to the stage again.
Amar and Kruti - am impressed with this boy. He was very good today to the extent that he over did kruti. Good moves, great acting and nice and sweet choreography. Once again amar proves that he can bring something different to the stage with quickstep. Kruti as always is good, sad to see her go.
Dharmesh and Binny – these guys are good dancers, but geeta once again showed her incompetence giving them absolutely nothing to do and showcase their talent. I believe they were wasted today as they had nothing to offer. And binny needs to get her act back quick cos she doesn’t even look a shadow of what she was when she started out. And dharmesh needs better choreography.
Kishore and Amrita- a good performance. Great energy which was required for the dance. Amrita was sizzling, great expressions. She is really good. Kishore was good too. I hope the janta develops some sense of dancing and vote amrita into the top 3, cos she defenitely doesn’t deserve to be in the bottom after giving amazing performances week after week.
Jack and Shakti – A really good performance. Different choreography from terence. Jack as usual was good. But i still believe he is not bringing any sort of variety to the stage. He still is safely clad by his routine moves which terence mixes with great dexterity. Shakti cleary needs to improve in hip hop. But she has a great attitude and made up for her lack of skill with expressions. It was good to see em together.
Saajan – please vote this guy out. He can’t dance for nuts. Please see the dance bits he does. He is pathetic. I do not want to see him perform anymore, its just a waste of time and eliminating another good dancer who could have done much better. Remo is just protecting him with good choreography which requires no dancing skills. And every other week he does his bboying. Please this is a request, VOTE HIM OUT!

None of em can even get into the top 6 for that matter in terms of quality. I just don’t want amrita to be disposed just like how zee took kruti out just for the heck of keeping parity. Let’s see. Hard to say dear..But to me looks like Remo is the one deciding for him..we know in Remo’s team he is the decider..i donot know he is even giving choices to his contestants. Remo is very clever in hiding flaws of the contestant than other 2 masters. He did same with Prince in DID1.
I show Terrence mentioning once that he was giving choices to his contestants..Geeta maa discuss things with her contestants.

Yea I agree with you there. Remo knows how to protect his contestants. But the problem is his contestants are so weak this time that he has to dig deep every week to shield em. Lets see how far this goes. The worry is ZEE would want to maintain parity among the masters in terms of the contestants and in that case many good dancers from geeta’s and Terence’s team are gonna be sacrificed for the crappy dancers from Remo’s group. I wouldn’t like that.

i luv terrence and i have the utmost respect for him but that quickstep was not really quickstep. but amar and kruti did a fabulous job. i personally think amar has shown improvement. i cried again after watching kruti. shakti was good but jack was better.
geeta team….binny and dharmesh were absolutely wasted. the dance was the most simple dance ever. kishore and amrita were good. amrita was way better though.
remo’s team…punit was the best out of those three. tashu and saajan NEED to go. like NOW! since tashu is doing a little better from last week, she can go the week after next. but for next week, saajan HAS to GO!

saajan is a natural boyer ..he needs some professional training for dance ….he is not experienced ..he is only 16 …he just missed did little masters …he sumtyms slips in flips 2 ..but he is too good in bboying although his breaking popping n locking are ot that clean …he has way to go with remo ..but i guess for the time being he should go
I agree with you. Kruti is much better than Shakti as an overall dancer. Jack outshined Shakti in the hiphop dance, and I am not sure why she received so much praise for it, she was so off compared to Jack. Anyway, D and Binny’s dance was nice, but way too simple for them. They have been established enough on this show already, and I think they should have been given more of a challenging act. I was highly disappointed in Geeta for that. Kishore and Amrita were awesome! They were my favorite for this episode.
As for elimination for next week, I am in agreement with you, that Nikitasha needs to leave! If someone else leaves in her place again, it will be very unfair for the others who are better then her.
i think saajan should leave …n abt D n binny ..m not defending them or trying to criticize u …every 1 has an opinion…one can fly high with bungee…but its veru difficult to control ur motion with a bungee..as remo said dat these lifts r done normally too …but they r more diffccult with bunge..yeah definitely the performance would look more beautiful if u r jumping high n doing sumthng …but difficulty wise it was no less ..d
Don’t get me wrong, I really liked Binny and D’s performance, I am just saying that they are SO good, that something a little more difficult would be better for them, because we know they can do it! That would have enhanced their performance more and would leave no room for anyone to say anything negative.

Amrita was sizzling, great expressions. She is really good. Kishore was good too. I hope the janta develops some sense of dancing and vote amrita into the top 3, cos she definitely doesn’t deserve to be in the bottom after giving amazing performances,

can somebody speak for geeta maa.. i have loved her choreography this time. is there no geeta fan here? she has been working hard, her contestants have been doing risky dances, areil stunts, and she had untrained dancers like binny and i think she has done a fab job with binny.
I m sure, she has been taking very good care of D sir, and thats why he stayed in her team.
its true, she can talk a bit rudely at times but still as long as she can deliver good entertainment for us who cares. I watch DID for all of it, drama included. I m saddened by remo this time, is he doing some other work and choreographies for other stars etc for filmfare awards sth like that, is he not giving enough time for his contestants? i think sth is not right here. he is a very good, but i think he is using his energy elsewhere too.

whatever remo is putting in his choreography still is better than geeta.. the problem with geeta is repepetitiveness and lack of creativity.. she doesnt do things that surprise u… most of her things are bollywood dances.. if there are other dances, remo and terence dont just present a form.. they present it with a lot of creativity and at a very high level while geeta just gives ordinary stuff.. agreed her contestants are good this time, but she needs to work on her choreography
If politics come into play, then yeah, probably someone from Geeta Ki Gang might be next, which will be very disappointing since she has the stronger dancers this season. If DID does not play the whole politics nonsense, then Tashu needs to be out! We already lost 2 better dancers against her.
guys… how can ya’ll even say that shakti should be eliminated! shes such a great performer! she has been getting the performace of the week almst every week since DID started! just because her solo where she danced a classical didnt turn out great, it doesnt mean she should go out!… thats outrageous! did you guys notice her strenght (which i doubt anyother female contestant has), her body language, her expressions, her flexibility, her attempts do to different types of performances. shes amazing!. on the other hand, i can compare binny to shakti, i could take one of her performances (her hip hop for example) and say that it was terrible. hip hop on binny just doesnt look good. however, i dont wanna point fingers, they are both great performers. i just think that we should not get biased and look at just one performance and judge by that, instead look at their entire stage at DID then decide.
if u look shakti isnt tht great anymore, terrance kept her in contemperory a lot n except her bull dance, she really is doing bad, the only thing she has proven is tht she cnt do other dance styles tht well
fair enough, but she has only done 3 other dance forms, classical, that bull dance and hip hop. admit shes not that great in classical and needs to improve in hip hop and im sure if she gets something like the quickstep, salsa or even an arial act.. im sure she can pull that off well!

Yes Dear Shakti is better than them. Somehow she looks fake to me..she behaves so BINDAS because she knows Terrence is with her.
And in Duo performance Terrence always gave her winning closing over boys – In Paso doble she got full marks over Kunwar..may be the song demanded but todays performance the boy part ..lighting the match stick..Terrence gave it to her…It sounds minor but shows still favoritism.
In terrence team..kunwar is the only one left with verstality.
People who said D is hyped…please see How Terrence after each dance of Shakti …he is commenting like ..WOW she did a fantastic job..unnecessarity.

It’s funny how you mentioned that Dharmesh still has the same look he had in the auditions. I was thinking the same thing, and I really like that about him. That shows that he is not taking this competition lightly and is a very humble guy, considering all this popularity. Technicality wise and just in pure dancing wise, Amrita is the best girl. I am sorry, but I don’t see the “drama” in Amrita that you are talking about. She seems like a very upfront person, which is why people are taking her the wrong way, and tagging her as a “drama queen”. She is anything but that. She has the right attitude of “what you see is what you get”, which shows that she is not fake. But I do agree with you that her “ya ya ya” thing was annoying, and I am glad it stopped. Shakti is sophisticated? Hmmm I am in complete disagreement with that, but that is my opinion. She seems kind of cunning, in a way that she knows what she needs to do to stay in the competition, but that can also be because Terrance kind of schools her on that. Oh well.
Dharmesh is awesome, and Geeta needs to step up her game because she is lucky to have such talented dancers on her team this season. She needs to give them crazy awesome dances already!
Hi Charms Angel,,, the reason I said she is a drama queen is because of all that natak she and Geeta did on the Manipuri dance day – if indeed they were so concerned and serious abt the pious nature of the dance, they would never dare to mix it with a bollywood song such as U are my Love… its disrespect at its heoght.. but because they want to prove they are keepers of culture and also please junta at the same time.. they resort to such dramatics… and I think Amrita is trying too hard to over take Binny because (and this is my personal opinion) Binny looks better! Also I hated the crasses of the Telugu dance they did – it was downright vulgar – when I say Shakti is sophistiated I mean it , if she had done that dance, it would have been beuatiful without being vulgar… hope u get my point and I really hope u agree! Hey I understand what you mean. But honestly, I don’t think Amrita is to blame for any “natak” antics on stage. I don’t what they were thinking about the song with manipuri, but let’s be real, all the masters do that. They take a “masala” type song, and mix it with a pure art dance form. It’s sad to say, but so many do it. Also, about the vulgarity of a dance, I do not understand how you can say that dance was vulgar. It is a type of dance that the south indians do. That is just how their choreography is.
You are saying Shakti is sophisticated, but did you forget the dance she did at the mega auditions? She danced on “loosen up my buttons” by the Pussy Cat Dolls, and that is what you call a downright VULGAR dance. If Shakti did that Telagu song, you’re right, it would not have been so “vulgar” looking because she wouldn’t have those “lachaks” and “thumkas” that Amrita has, therefore not doing justice to that genre of dance. Also what Teena did on the day she was eliminated (Chiggy Wiggy) is also a VULGAR dance, not what Amrita did with “Hitchki”. Oh, and let’s not forget the dance Bhawna, Meenu & Tashu did in those very very short clothes. That is not only downright vulgar, but also very very inappropriate. My mom couldn’t even watch them dance!

I think the whole erratic nature of the voting is because of favoritism. As somebody earlier pointed out out of 100 votes 80 goes to dharmesh and the rest are among the others. So the others lose out marginally and hence we see good dancers going out. There is so much pressure on them. But dharmesh can get away with ordinary performances like today cos he has those 80% in the bag. I believe some marks should be given by a neutral judge to maintain a balance so that we don’t lose good dancers like kruti.
He is Getting so many votes because he has gained JAnta’s trust by his few performances. Other contestants were given fair chances like him..still did not get JAnta’s heart.

You people do not realize comparing a Trained dancer with an Untrained dancer. He does an excellent job and when he comes on stage public expect to see his B BOYing.. and yeah what he does no one can touch him..

But he cannot go with that style forever….in this competition. He was not even able to clear choreography rounds my masters after audition. First round which was Remo’s he was not able to clear..forget with other two masters.

well, in that case no dance style is that easy….hardword is the key to success here…there are actually a lot of people like saajan who came for auditions n were not choosen bcoz they cannot justify other styles..remember saajan couldn’t clear all three mentor’s rounds?? just bcoz he does those back flips doesn’t mean he deserves it…if he proves that he can fairly justify other styles too..then he very well deserves it..n its very sad to see others leaving in place of him… I hate when Remo defends his contestants by saying nobody can touch u in this…ENOUGH of it now..

i dont agree! i dnt believe darmesh and binny are that great! darmesh is only wow with his hip hop styles! he can not pull of salsa o contemporary (splits and leaps!) and binny! i haven’t seen her doing nething great! yes shes done arial acts, but arial acts that she has done are basic. throught out DID she has done bollywood and folk dances! i dont think she deserves a spot in the top 10! amrita is farrrrrr a better dancer than binny! and as far as darmesh goes, i think kunwar, jack and punit can whoop his dancing days from him!

Baby Boo is clearly getting favoritism, and unrightly so. What has he done besides b-boying? I mean, yeah, he did that one Charlie Chaplin type act with Meenu and whats-his-name, but as a whole he has not really shown a lot of variety. He’s late in the game and needs to step it up a lot…really fast. The competition is really rough from here on out and Remo is clearly being an idiot and repeatedly choreographing the same thing. We got the idea that he was a great b-boyer from the first performance – the variety should have been added right after that, not next week!

But he cannot go with that style forever….in this competition. He was not even able to clear choreography rounds my masters after audition. First round which was Remo’s he was not able to clear..forget with other two masters.

what had happen was a past, the contestan now should come up with different chore-choreographing, which adds extra miles to life. otherwise its a stupid skills that masters choregraphs to contender which is no difference from “so you think you can…” but just the music, i.e. English fazt, sloz,saz, etc…
Master Terrance i know how he decide upon & his judgement that no other master will have, but the weaker part on him is putting the same technique over…. thats flapping

I have seen that most of the people here are complaining that Saajan only keeps doing one dance form… true he has done Bboying a few times but then again he has been in the competition for a very short while.
What about Shakti/Kunwar/Dharmesh etc etc who keep repeating their specialty time after time ? I too would like to see Saajan try something different but I am aware that he is a raw talent and needs training..
Not so for Dharmesh/Binny/Shakti/Kunwar/Amrita/puneet all these dancers are not only trained dancers, all of them have performed on the stage previously and some of them are teachers for god’s sake. Keep this in mind.

I was watching some of the old vids today and i must say one thing leaps out of all the vedios..
Terrance is besotted with his own choreography.. I cant see any other reason why he keeps praising his own choreography.. In the paso doble performance for instance terrance identified half a dozen instances in the choreography which he said was exceptionally, amazing good… come on man this choreography has been done by you dont you feel kind of sick beating your own drum like that ?
I have the feeling that this season terrance is determined to win under any circumstances his desire is so much that he is willing do do all manner of cheapness as well.
I think you are right that terrance is doing that.
One of the reason could be Gita is stupid in terms of knowing dance forms and its details and He must be expecting Ramo to notice and praise those small-small points but Ramo is also as usual self centric hence doesn’t did that……so he didn’t had any other option to inform audience about that………..

i actually think lala is true to some extent. terrence prob does want the others to notice the small moments in his choreography and maybe thats why is he pointing it out after the other masters dont say anything. so sad that he doesnt realize that this is playing against him.

I dont see terrance praising any minute points in his competitors choreography, so why should he always praise his own choreography ? I think after each performance only the two masters who are not involved in the performance should comment on it, and the choreographer should remain silent unless he has been asked a question.

one more reason why terrence is determined to win this season is becuase he was pissed off last season that alisha didnt win. honestly alisha did deserve to win over salman but this didnt happen and along with millions of alisha’s fans, i think terrence was also very upset that the true talent didnt win.
I thought Bhavna was the best girl amongst all the girls. It was very shocking when she left. Alisha was lucky to be in Terrance ki Toli because he gave her the best dances, like he is doing this season with Shakti. Otherwise, Alisha as a whole, was very good, but not deserving of the win. I was not a Salman fan (I loved Mayuresh & Siddhesh, so sad when Mayuresh was out), but as an overall dancer, he was actually very good and deserved the win.
u r seriously out of ur mind. alisha and not a good dancer? mind u bhavna, kushboo also got very good dances from remo. but have they shined as much as alisha? i dont think so. alisha truly truly was a fantastic dancer. mayuresh and especially siddhesh were good but neither of them deserved to win in my opinion. and for salman…he deserved third place, after alisha and jai. and i dont think terrence showed any partiality towards alisha. he gave vrushali just as good choreography. however this is not the case this season. clearly kruti has not been given much importance as shakti is being given.
looking back at these people, i can say that ALL the girls last season are way way better than girls this season… maybe not sunita gogoi but everyone else.
Sorry, that is my opinion. I thought Alisha was awesome, but I definitely don’t think she deserved the win. No doubt, she deserved to be in top 4, but not win. I thought Salman was a better overall dancer then her. In fact, I do believe he was the best dancer of last season, but there is something about him that I just didn’t like, so I couldn’t become a fan of his. I think it was fair for Jai Kumar to be 4th. He is also an amazing amazing dancer, but not deserving of the win. Anyway, this is my outlook. To be honest, I don’t believe that Alisha wasn’t trained. Her lines and movements were very contemporary, almost too much for an untrained dancer to have. Again, please keep in mind, this is MY opinion!
Alisha’s sister has a reputed dance class in ranchi and alisha was a teacher in the same..she is a liar..

I a m glad there are still some people who appreciate dance..Alisha is still the best compared to season 1 and season 2…being an untrained dancer..she was flawless in most of the performances…she is unbelievable..sadly this season doesn’t have that good contestants…Alisha has done classical as if she learned it for years…i believe that she is a true winner…n salman won becoz of the popularity without any doubt

Saajan is not bad at dancing just need practice at it ….. hes much better at group performances…. everyone does mistakes in there dances , you cant call them rubbish dancer after there mistakes … but everyone has there own opinons… and he has to do some perofrmances that he knows best and not to take a huge risk that he cannot do…. like dharmesh and his classical dance…… Honestly its going to be a shock if some one goes that we did not expect….. but hey what can you do one of the contestants has to go……. And having a fair idea dharmesh is probably going to win knowing the votes so theres no shock really to any other elimination ………

After I came here my dialogue delivery and speech started changing, because when I am here I mostly speak to Americans. I kind of pick up on their dialogue delivery and speech. Dharmesh: Lost his touch, I do not see him being number one in the coming week. Unless he can pull of a real magical performance, which is hard since his master is… well you know Geeta.
Shakti: She is making a mistake by trying new things in every dance. She needs to wow people to get votes. We all loved all of her dances even though they were contemporary simply because she made us wow. She needs to do what she does best.
Jack: Look closely fanboys, same moves by jack just different sequence. His master is very cunning at making people think that he is actually doing something new everytime.
Sajjan: Hopeless case. Mr Chaplin, it seems can’t dance for shit. Also he has fan following in Jalandhar, his brother does rallies to get votes for him, so for sure he won’t be going out anytime soon.
Amrita: Firey character or Drama Queen you call it, I think she dances well but needs to keep her mouth under control. I think Mithun told her that once.
Binny: Another drama queen, she has gone down hill from her performance (O re piya) I have never seen the same veera since.
Baal ki Dukan: Remember that adv of Aamir Khan? This dude looks the same. Oh and his dance is as ugly as his face.
Amar: He played the sympathy card this week by saying he is from small town and doesn’t know English, so he has a complex. Watch out for him this week, he will be in safe zone for sure.
Punit: Genuine dancer, no drama only hard work. I think he should go further.
Kruti: Sad to see her go, there are worse dancers who were saved.

But he is from small city…he wanted to learn more in his area (Hiphop) he wanted to be trained more professionally…As a teacher also..he said in one of the Limelight that he feels like again he is in 6th standard and learning..he has that hunger to learn (instead Geeta is using his choreography)…B’s ..his father put him in a school after 6 th std..he got up himself…to dance in a small city is not enough..It is like I as a doctor ignoring the latest technologies and drugs to use in patient’s cure..
The person whatever is telling below sounds so pathetic too me. There are always one more higher step in life…I am sure after his exposure in DID he is very famous…his hard work is pay off.

Among all the performance…… the 3-4 mind boggling performances which DHARMESH sir has given through out in DID 2.
I dont thin that any other contestant have ever Reached to that level in DID 2 , of all the performance they have given in DID 2.
So with out any doubt he is a class performer……only thing he is suffering is with the choreography of GEETA. otherwise he is Just the best………u cant blame a contestant for choreography…..what ever is given to him he makes BEST OUT OF it and u should all appreciate Dharmesh SIR for that.

Remo is good in Hiphop but he choreographs all other dances very well (classical, contemporary etc) same with Terrence. His mastery in contemporary (he has even performed and taught Priyanka Chopra) but he is good in Classical and Hiphop too.
Geeta can’t choreograph Hiphop well…sometimes other dance styles too.. may be Mini is after all the hard work and also hiphop looks like Dharmesh sir’s choreography b’s i have seen his students doing those steps.

I loved the performances of Amrita n Kishore in their last South Indian act. Sorry, dunno the title of the song. Though I dont fancy Amrita, but I admit that she has very expressive face and got the curvy moves, energetic n enthusiastic performer. Surprised to note that Kishore is NO 3. Geeta has managed to bag all the 3 top pisitions. Remo is no where near them. Surpised to see his low self esteem this season. Dunno if his leg injury has taken away his spirits & confidence, or he is just waiting for the finale to stalk.
This time I liked Jay’s dancing to the Tamil number “Appadi podu podu”, together with they other contestants who joined him. I truly loved that part. Yet to see contestants of the 3 various judges performing together as part of the teamwork activities, except when they perform to DID theme song.
Why this time the DID organisers do not have any themes for all the contestants to follow? For e.g. every week, they should come up with theme like “Halloween Nite”, or “National Day”, or the “60″? I see that they usually peform to their own free styles.
Wished if the DID organisers arrange for a session whereby all the contestants get to pick their favourite fellow contest and they both come up with thier own theme, choreography and costumes. E.g. Dharmesh n Jack or Shakti n Dharmesh…
It will be fun to watch 3 judges contestants not being restricted to their own group and perform together along with the judges themselves.
Remo know this time he have no chance to WIN, that’s why he do not into this GAME, Only Terrence Vs G33ta Match going on.

Jack and Saajan have not prove yet (not versatile..its OK they are not good in other styles but should at least attempt..no one is perfect here).I donot agree with the poll. I hope people see what new and other styles they have done..are they worth for top 5 and vote.
For now, Only thing i know is It is time for Tashu to go…continuous 2 weeks in bottom and Shashank and Kruti are sacrificed. Tashu did weak solo..duo was OK.

I agree with some about how DID this season is not as complex as last season. Maybe all the masters used their best choreography and creativity last season and might be having trouble topping all their dances. Hmm let me clarify that, I meant Remo and Terrance for the above statement. Clearly Geeta was horrible last season so maybe that’s why this season she is doing better. There was nothing she needed to top from last season Haha. Ok that’s mean, anyway getting back to reviews for 3/6/10, is as follow:
1) Kishore & Amrita –> What a power packed performance!!! These 2 were amazing! Loved everything about this dance. It was full of fun, entertainment, energy, dancing and acting. I especially loved when the “TV” moved and they were still dancing. That was a cool and clever touch to the dance. I seriously thought i was watching a music video. I even liked when Kishore dropped Amrita by mistake because I couldn’t stop laughing (while I felt bad for them as well)!! I can’t even say this was a FLAWLESS performance now due to that fall, but otherwise it was. Anyway, Amrita is on fire! Kishore was awesome but Amrita stole the show. I’m surprised they didn’t win performance of the day. Their performance had all the right elements, including the main one, which is great execution and coordination from both. This was a very fast paced song and choreography, so coordination becomes more difficult to manage, however, their coordination was surprisingly almost perfect! This performance was my favorite for this episode! Keep it up.
2) Punit & Tashu –> This was a beautiful and sweet performance. The little clever things Remo put in were very nice and executed well. Both did well. Punit was of course much better then Tashu, but she was better in this performance compared to a lot of her previous ones. There wasn’t much complexity in this performance, which can be due to the calm and romantice nature of the song, but whatever was done, was very nice. I loved when they did the swing stunt and when Tashu got on the huge ring while Punit was holding it. Those were very creative touches to the performance! However, I do wish they did something on the slide together, since this was a romantic song. They did the swing stunt, so adding a slide stunt would make it a complete “playground of romance”! Overall it was a sweet, simple, coordinated performance.
3) Dharmesh & Binny –> Although it was too simple for their level of dance, but like Terrance said, whatever they did was beautiful and well executed with ease. The song is very romantic and soft, so you can’t really set too much of complex choreography to it, because it might look aggressive for a sweet song. That is what I think. However, I do believe that regardless of the soft song, there could have been more “wow” factors added since they were on the Bungee cord. Considering that both Binny and Dharmesh has done much much MORE complex stunts and choreography without any harness or anything, they could have blown us away with something crazy with the Bungee. With that said, I also can’t say much on that either because I am not sure how difficult it is to control ones body on a Bungee cord. All I know, it is hard to balance the ground and air while on a Bungee, so that can be the reason maybe? Geeta, please give your kids more complex choreo and concept, they are too good to waste simple choreography on!!! Anyway, all in all, it was a beautiful and flawless performance according to what they were given.
4) Jack & Shakti –> Loved the concept, but the choreography was very simple as well. There was a lot of acting involved in this song, which is probably the reason why the dancing seemed minimal. Jack was great as usual, and Shakti’s acting was awesome, but she lacks the hiphop rhythm and needs to brush up a lot. There were many instances in the dance where she was not in sync with Jack and lacked energy. No doubt though that her acting made up for the lack of hip hop dance skills. Jack was of course very good, and his acting was very cute. It wasn’t as hardcore and full of attitude like Shakti’s, was that how it was supposed to be? Doesn’t matter to me because I loved both their expressions. Terrance was definitely bias with Shakti on this performance. It was clear that the way she performed was no where near Jack’s performance level, but he cleverly made it seem like she did a close to “perfect” job. He barely complimented Jack, which was surprising! Also, I was very shocked that they won performance of the day. This was an enjoyable act, but I don’t see how they earned the best performance. There were a good amount of weak factors in this act, which is why I was thrown off by them receiving performance of the day. Oh well, lucky for them. Overall, fun performance, but Shakti darling, you need to practice your hiphop a lot, and Jack, do something new, PLEASE!
5)Amar & Kruti –> This was a very weak version of a Quick Step. I definitely credit Terrance for bringing the Quick Step on the DID stage, however, I do think he should have studied it a bit more and waited to bring this genre out later. Otherwise, cute concept and fun to watch, but the coordination was very off between the both of them. It seemed like they were having a hard time keeping up with the “quick” beats. Amar was pretty good though, and Kruti was lacking this time around. She could not keep up with Amar at all. If you look at their foot work closely, you will see how both of them were uncoordinated, and Kruti was a beat behind almost every time. Maybe this is due to her being eliminated, so her emotions might have taken over her? I don’t know but I will miss her. Anyway, besides the dancing, their expressions were very cute and I LOVED that cartwheel they did together! I am glad to see Amar improving, but still needs to work a bit harder. Good job otherwise.
6)Saajan & Punit –> This was a very cute and intellegent concept! It definitely brought back old memories of the Tom & Jerry show. I still watch it when it’s on TV. While they were performing, I can easily imagine how Tom & Jerry are, so I was imagining it as if I was actually watching the show, that is how well the concept was put together by Remo. However, what makes this dance last place for me, is that there were LOTS of coordination issues between Saajan and Punit. There was a lot of running around, which is obviously due to the concept, but the little areas where there was dancing, it was very weak and not well pulled off by both. If we leave the dancing out, this would be a much better act, but since the main portion is the dance, it becomes weak. Otherwise, I think this was a great concept and the acting part of it was very well done. Better luck next time with the dancing portion! Good luck.
According to me, I think the next to leave should be Nikitasha. It will be very sad if instead of her, for the 3rd week in a row, someone more deserving and better leaves. She is a good dancer, but she is not up to par with the other dancers on the show. It is becoming more and more shocking that she is still surviving on DID. As for Saajan, I can see that he is trying hard to do good, so I would like to see a little bit more of him to see what else he can do. But, no more b-boying please, otherwise after Nikitasha, my vote will be for him to leave!

Why did you not like Amar/Kruti performance? I personally think that you should judge Amar’s (even though you did a fairly good job of it using words) the ranking should be done according to HIS performance. Kishore/Amrita, I agree that Amrita IS one of the strongest female contestants but they made a HUGE blunder that (besides Shashank and Punits performance the day Vivek Oberoi came) that has not been made so far in DID 2, just my opinion.
1)Same thing happened when Kruti and Kunwar performed on Amitabh episode on Dilipkumar’s song. Here Kishore and Amrita just missed one lift ans she fell..but in Kruti-Kunwar performance they miss the chunk of dance..that was more worse than this.
2)Punit and Shaskank’s Nageshwar act they did VERY VERY VERY bad job..ever seen in the show. Punit was circling ..can’t connect what they were doing…the act was understandable only after Remo said about it..otherwise nobody would have noticed even.
3)Again Tom and Jerry Performance..because funny moments were there..we did not pay much attention to it and also this is everybody’s favorite cartoon characters..so that also has influenced when it comes to judge and comment..However the connection and dance from Saajan side was not good at all except for the beginning.
4) Punit and Bhavana on that Tango dance in Amitabh episode..disappointed.
Remo is coming up with good Choreography numbers but his contestants are not able to do it.
Thank you Love! I completely agree. That tango dance was the worst on this show! Of course the choreography was awesome, but both of them totally butchered it. Of course Bhawna’s neck being messed up might have something to do with it, but either way, it was disappointing. Kishore and Amrita’s dance was 95% perfect. 5% missing because of the fall at the end, but that was a tiny part of the act.

Dharmesh will not get out that easily. Still as fans we still hoping he gonna rock. His few performances in the past has created mania for some people.

i love binny’s performances… i agree that this time, she wasn’t that great MAINLY because of the choreography- i expected more from the bungees…. however, terrance did say that her forms and extensions were perfect and clean. Perhaps more up in the air movements would have made the dance in totality better…
dharmesh is also very good, but he needs a lot of improvement in styles other than locking/popping/hip-hop etc (ie the performance he did with binny… even mithunda said she out-shined him)
kishore and amrita are very talented. great energy, and very in-sync as well. no one from geeta’s gang should be eliminated as of yet, but she should definitely work on harder/better choreography and concepts
I feel that saajan should be eliminated this time, not because i dislike him, but because he messed up badly.
tashu is a really good dancer- she needs more confidence though.
shakti is kind of like dharmesh- EXCELLENT at what she does, but needs loads of help with other art forms.. just my opinion though.
as for jack- he’s adorable!!!! such a cutie pie!!!!!
amar is good too, so is punit.

How does it make sense to call thi show Dance India Dance, when auditions are’nt held in different locations in India. It isn’t about the auditions, but people from other parts of India getting the chance to participate. It seems as if most auditions are held in North India. Therfore, it should be called, Dance North India Dance.

I thought that it didn’t make a difference if the bungees were used or, if they wouldn’t. It seemed as if the bungees didn’t add any AWESOMNESS to the performance. They pretty much could’ve done most of the moves without the bungees and, no AWESOMNESS would’ve been lost.

according to me: (i m an architect-planner not a dancer) here is the ranking of dancers:
1).Dharmesh: he is a good entertainer, dancer and always works in his limitation, thats nice, agreed with terrance sir that unka posture classical mai thoda theek nahi hota………and it is more difficult for a person who is good in hip-hop (popoing) doing classical….
2).Puneet…..he is tall, graceful, zinda dil, good presence on stage, good dancer, versatile,
3).Binny: 45% dancing rest smile……
4). Jack: Batter than binny but less versatile
5).Amrita: probably most versatile, most talented girl. Batter than binny…….but lack the smile of binny.
rest are also good dancers……….but sajan ko abhi kafi kuch sekhna hai…..
I do not mean to sound rude or anything but all the non-hindu contestants seem to be the ones targeted/forgotten such as Saajan, Nikkitasha, Binny, Jack, and Amar (his name sounds Punjabi), if you do not believe me just go back and look at the comments. BTW Charmz Angel, I look forward to you analysis (but have started to not agree with them) unfortunately it seems as if you have started favoring Geeta and bashing Terrence, just my personal opinion.

S0rry you feel that way, but please note, I do not favor any of the Masters. In fact, I am utterly disappointed in Geeta right now because she is not utilizing her dancers properly. She started off strong this season, but she is getting weak again. Hence, I do not favor her, but I do believe her dancers are awesome, not so much Kishore though (he is improving at least). As for Terrance, I think he is the most talented Master, but I don’t like how he favors a specific dancer. I love Jack! He is one of my favs for this season, so I am not quite sure where you are coming up with your assumptions. My review is purely based on my opinion of each dance, not the masters.

I donot like this right to recall power though i donot know exactly how it will apply. Its very unfair that Mithun will call one contestant on this power after 4-5 contestants are left. those 4-5 contestants battle a lot to get there and this contestant is jumping directly to 4-5 th position.
Who knows what would have happened of that contestant had to play fully assuming he or she never got eliminated.

for those of u who lectured me about how people vote based on that week’s performance. i hope this says everything. Dharmesh and Binny are on top despite giving an AVERAGE and SIMPLE performance. and shakti, who was good, but not great is third. unbeleivable. i hope people now believe me when i say people vote based on favoritism. they DONT CARE what others perform. as i said, the probably watch their fav contestant and then immediately go to the phone to vote without watching any others. i am upset once again with the voting. but at least tashu is gone. good decision janta for that part. once again dharmesh voters (i pick on dharmesh cuz he has the most out of control fans), im glad u give dharmesh this much love, but plz be fair. dharmesh totally didnt deserve first place after last week’s performance. and binny definitely not second and shakti definitely not third. based solely on last week’s performance, in my opinion, the top three should be amrita, punit, dharmesh in that order. binny wasnt that good, nor was amar, definitely not kishore, not jack, not shakti, not saajan. amrita was mindblowing in the solo and the duet. punit good in solo and was good in both the tom and jerry act and the duet with tashu. dharmesh was good in solo even though his duet wasnt that great. this is based solely on last week’s performance.

I agree that Kruti has always been good, but the problem is, she was never able to outshine the one she performed with. She finally really shined on her classical performance. She was superb!!!! Regardless if she was better then her partner or not, she definitely did not deserve to leave this soon, especially before Tashu, Saajan, Amar, Shakti & Kishore.

1. weak apprieance , not really attractive, even if he done good dance.
. it’s really irritate to watch that Dharmesh Smiling with Binny, and his smile really not match with the performance. that’s why i put weak apperience for him.

Terrence said that Dharmesh was pleasant all the time during the dance. I have seen that performance many times (of course). He knows how he looks ..he did not over react or smile.
Binny is such that if she is pared with anybody in the contest still she will beat others in looks …she needs little Jhatka only in her dance to get votes..
I did not like her Belly dance …she was stiff. If u have seen Vadodara audition..There was one another Dharmesh’s student-MEETU or NEETU..she did not exactly do belly dance but her all steps were based on belly..she was so flexible..soft in her movements. BTW Dharmesh sir taught her..lol

In Geeta ki gang forum u can convey your message to Geeta. Swati is currently answering her questions..I suggest her politely about D sir costumes and dance..she is weird though ..she told me Geeta ma knows better what to do with her contestants. I am not sure she is conveying message to Geeta or Geeta is like that.
Geeta is very jealous that D sir has so many fans. Even they r advertising Geeta on D sir’s page. Binny too got friends from his page. She is versatile and good dancer as she is untrained. It is her fortune that she has good looks. ..50% work is already done.

I agree Jinbaba..2 performances ..last week with binny and one with amrita..was not good. Geeta..I donot know what to say about this master..enough talked about her. She has tried enough to ruin D sir.
She should be smart enough by now that Dharmesh is not suitable with girls at all. Look at Remo how he is using Saajan. Terrence is smart enough from the beginning about choosing contestants that have body and atleast good look. Otherwise he would have chose Jack at that time..performance wise, also Melvin over ameeth.
Dharmesh is pissed off by everywhere. Geeta’s ego, Geeta’s choreography, Remo, Terrence and Mithunda’s bad/OK comments about him because of bad choice of dance that reflects his weaknesses, he has to face comments about his look as u mentioned. He knows he is very average looking.
I am very upset Mithunda..2 times commented indirectly about his look. It s very bad. He is mature enough and staying quiet.
But I totally blame Geeta …as a master u should be able to do such things that brings benefits to contestant. Instead of utilizing him properly she is exposing him. That hurts…

i agree with u kindi.jack is really very much limited in his dance as he is not showing any variety in his dances .But u have 2 c that the dancers who r showing variety have been elluminated one after the other(shashank & kruti).Janta is not doing justice with good dancers like them.
i hate to say but i have to say that DID2 is below average comparing to DID1.And i think that most of u agree with me.I give one example that none of the top12 are better even from prince of DID1.who was not in top5.All of his performances were better than all of the DID2 performances until now.And this is not because of the dancers in DID2 .its mostly because of the masters, as they are not giving them the new and interesting choreographies. so good dancers like dharmesh,amrita and punit have been totally wasted.i think this time around only terence is coming up with new and bright ideas so dancers like shakti and amar are doing good job in their performances.As they are getting most of the “SAB SE KHOUBSORAT PERFORMANCE”award.

i dont think so cuz thats not fair. its not fair for geeta…not that she was fair to remo to begin with when she picked dharmesh despite dharmesh telling her he likes remo, but still. i wish this would happen, not just with dharmesh, but with the other geeta’s contestants as well. all of her contestants are strong and she doesnt deserve any of them or anyone else in the competition. her team members should be taken over by remo and terrence cuz i cant stand to see an undeserving choreographer go to the finals because of her strong performers.

I just luv the show a lot…..
Out of all the dancers i find Amrita the most talented…she has performed various dance forms-
Cha Cha cha,Contemporary,Freestyle,Classical,Semi classical,aerial,Lawni and Tollywood…In the auditions also she had performed Indian Contemporary,Folk Dance,Hip Hop,Salsa and Manipuri and she has got really good comments from all masters.They have not just told her that she has tried but they hv praised her a lot for every performance.She is the only contestant who has shown such variety and has been successful too.She surely deserves to go to Top 4 atleast.
Other contestants who deserves to go to top 4 except Amrita are Kruti,Dharmesh, and either of Kishore/Kunwar/Punit.
I find Shakti way too overrated as she is good only in contemporary and nothing else.She only knows how to jump in the air and doing splits. Binny is also a good dancer but she is talked abt more for her smile and her courage to perform risky stunts. Sanjan is gr8 at b-boying but that’s not enough for this platform.
I am just praying that Amrita shd go to top 4 and Kruti shd be called back.
i think sajan ws the best dancer and i sure sajan will be the first
