Dance India Dance Season2 30th January, Yes we have been waiting to confirm the spoiler and Dharmesh from Geeta Ki Gang is OUT, so is meenu panchal from Remo Ke Rangeeley. Dharmesh performed on a classical number today which I think was a brave attempt but judges did not like him in that style and he paid the price. Geeta Kapoor looked upset and she said that she will make sure he returns to Dance India Dance Season2 through a wild card entry. Meenu is also out of the show and Remo D’souza did not look happy about it. Enjoy the videos and don’t forget to leave your comments.

dont blame binny, at least she tried her best to dance various style of dancing. not loke shakti.. her style same from the start until now, no difference at all
Binny is hardworking…agreed..but her performance isnt very great..but Shakti is the best!She does perform differnt style…chaliya ws AMAZING!!!
Chaliya Chaliya had a gist of contemporary.. what she did for Chaliya was not whacking and hiphop to the fullest. It was a mixture tied in with Contemporary. Shakti is awesome at what she does.. but i have yet to see her WOW everyone. Binny’s performances are very good. I don’t think her performances for the Salsa dance and Ore Piya need to be justified. The compliments per each judge prove it and of course so does her “wow factor” performance.
Its not that Shakti’s style of dancing has been the same from the begining. Then you would have missed some episodes jangguem. I am upset that Dharmesh has been elimineted, because he is the best of all if you ask me. But on that particular day he was the weakest link, maybe because of Geeta. I might not blame Mithunda. And I still donn’t believe that the compitition is fixed, but who am I?

We all love Dharmesh Sir. He deserves better treatment. DID organizers should realize this fact.

I am really disappointed by the quality of DID from last two weeks. The show is really becoming boring and more of a celebrity show with lots of break and less dances. Amitabh show’s promos was really good and we thought that it would be good. But it was biggest let down, there was no fun as shown in promos and it was more of praises for big’b and dada by everybody. Also dancers/everybody were just floored by his presence.
Second and more disappointing factor is the way show is going. there is really no competition happening there. And the way selections are being made , it does not look fair at all and it all depend on the luck or which song dance form u have chosen at that time. You really cant compare with someone expert in classic with someone who is just trying it or a new form with one week of training ( like in case of dharmesh ).
I want to bring some points and suggestion.
1. First there should not be different teams with master’s. it then becomes, contestant’s luck in which group they belongs.
2. for every week there should be a theme/dance form so that all are judged on that dance form. This way we can see who has really learnt well ( if its not their style) and how good they are. If someone is really expert/trained in that style he/she might skip voting for that round.
3. public voting should start from top 18/12 itself.
4. for every weeks, all three master should prepare dance with everyone( group or solo) on the given theme ( or different theme per master to have some variety)
I hope this feedback would be usefull to make this show really successful, otherwise it would loose its charm.

i love ur comment. its sensible n truthful. i also luv ur suggestions n agree with a large part of it, except i dont think we shud have one dance theme for 1 week as so many performances of the same style can get a bit monotonous… but now that the number of contestants has gone down n only 4-5 perfomances per week, maybe it wud work out fine…

I do not understand the DID rules. The judges nominate the dancers for Saturday who gets good appreciation on the previous day. Still not able to understand the elimination of Dharmesh. Especially Terrence is playing very safe, he nominates his strong dancers. Somehow loosing interest in DID due to this politics.

dharmesh doesn’t need any coreographer…he deserves to be in the place of masters… Dharmesh should teach dance to geeta ma…how can she experiment with him???? he is the best in his style…for ex/: MJ cant be experimented with indian folk or classical,he cant since he is the best in pop n nobody else….

I agree, Dharmesh Sir was always helping Geeta in setting up the choreography for all her contestants. Geeta never admitted that fact on the show. She was lucky to have him but she could digest that.
Dharmesh Sir is master himself, he doesn’t need to be judged by any one else. Wait and watch in near future he is going to be at same level where Terrence or Remo is now.
Good luck Dharmesh Sir, no one can stop you getting on the top.
today episode performance was not really Good, except Tashu, parvez today performance i like it. but unfortunatly tarrence always called parvez 4 kasoti, and that’s not fair. why tarrence always contemparary on Amar & shakti, why he don’t try different dance style on these contestant? is he scared? he always experament on parvez & he do well as geeta told him now he (parvez) her New dance partner, bcoz she know his verstylity, but i am very sad on tarrence didn’t do justice with him. very Sad tarrence. u think people don’t know your politics, but i know. Mathunda also don’t know Good Jugdues.
REMO’s double standards
last season remo said that he give popping locking choreography to prince each n every time because he likes to hone a person if he;s good in that style

Guys and gals, I love DID, like you all. But I am sorry to say, I am disappointed and sad about the judgment of Mitthunji, so called “Grand Master”.
After performance he says, he appreciates someone who attempts something new but on the other hand he discourages the same concept by eliminating the contestant who takes risks by trying new. That is so hypocrite.
It is sad that the person who performs classical dance are never given salute (like Nikitasha did not get) instead they are eliminated (like Dharmesh Sir). It was sad to see that the person who does not know any dance forms or technicality is sitting on this chair and making all wrong decision. The classical dance should be encouraged no matter what. And Dharmesh Sir indeed performed so well but yet got eliminated bcoz he was not “haatt!” and sexy. Grand Master only likes “Haatt!” western style performances from young girls who wears minimum cloths and seduces on the stage. Sad Sad Sad! I don’t what message he giving to the young generation of India.
A true grand master would have given Dharmesh Sir another chance, just to appreciate that he tried some thing new, something classical which very few people knows.

Dharmesh u must be Hot Ok ;). vivik stylish. i like his Dum Movie & his acting. geeta always problem with bhavna, but 2night i saw her performance is not very bad. but fine. tasho good. Remo doing new dance for his contestant except tarrence only take risk at parvez & kruti. not Amar & Shakti, i saw Shakti & punit has tarrence old Students. that’s why tarrence Use shakti very carefully lol how SAD tarrence. u didn’t really wrong job these day at DID2, be carefull maN, people are very cautious about your Choreography understand ;)
Yup… this season, Tarrance has become very smart and Remo has become dumb or he doesn’t care any more. He is not doing anything innovative in his choreography and then talking rubbish for other contestants. Remo come on dude you can do better than this :-)
I know! Remo is just being a slacker this year. His choroyography has sucked! His team could be strong, but is not because he is not teaching them well! All he knows how to do is talk crap about other contestants…freaken Remo lol

I liked Meenu a lot. She is my favorite. Not because she is good looking but becuase she is a complete and awesome dancer. She gives best expressions.
About wild card entry, I am not sure how it is going to be this time. I m curious though.
A SUGGESTION TO DID ORGANIZERS:
PLEASE PROMOTE AND SPREAD OUR (INDIAN) TRADITIONAL, CLASSICAL AND FOLK DANCE FORMS.
Just allocate 5-6 minutes from each DID show to our Indian dances. Every episode, one team can perform one Indian dance, (solo or group). And there should not be any elimination for that performance. The teams can use this round to promote their contestants and can get more votes.
This way we all will be able to know and learn about different styles and forms of our Indian dances from each corner of our country.

Honestly, DID won’t be the same without Dharmesh. As for Geeta,I just don’t know what to believe. True, she does try to bring Indian culture to the show, yet her attempts, sometimes, fail. And this time, it cost heavy for Dharmesh.
I hope if Dharmesh does come back, he goes into Remo’s team, because a good dancer needs a good backbone, and I believe that he can get that through Remo.
I can’t agree more to fact that DID is NOT the same without Dharmesh Sir. He must come back.
And I think he should be back in Terrance’s team instead of Remo. Bcoz Terrance have been very creative and innovative in this season so far, comparatively. He brings best out of the contestant. Although I like Remo the best out of the three masters, he has been very careless and lazy this time. May be it is bcoz of his injury, not sure. But look at Terrance’s ideas and dedication this season. He has got maximum salutes for his work.
To be honest… even though i am not a very big fan of Geeta, she really has stepped up her game this season. I think that the risk she took with Dharmesh was awesome because that showed his versatility. Yes, it was not a type of dance many understood, but that is because the sad truth is that now India is trying to be more modern. Where has the culture and classical styles of indian dancing disappeared to? Dharmesh is amazing and nothing can stop him from coming back through the Wild Card! It is quite obvious that he is the best dancer on the show.. HANDS DOWN!
i think everything is fixed at the judges level.I was also shocked to see Dharmesh sir out of DID….but he was so cool..because he knows that it is better to get out of Geetas gang than dancing on her choriography.He was in fact happy…

I think Terrance’s team will be a better team for Dharmesh Sir if he comes back.

oh god… it was terrible when i heard that dharmesh is out..

Dharmesh Sir performed much better than couple of other guys. He did something new and the difficulty level was much much much higher comparatively.
When you compare the performance you must compare the difficulty level and risk involved. And for trying such a difficult and unique style he should have been give appreciation and encouragement by giving him a chance.
Remo and Terrance played a game to get him out so geeta loses her best contestant and they have upper hand in the finale. I agree that Geeta is the weakest of all three masters and she did not deserve Dharmesh Sir any way. But it was INDEED A MOST HORRENDOUS decision of all.
But we all know that he will be back.
Even though in the beginning i was quite pissed to see Dharmesh going into Geeta’s gang.. i think he has a better chance of showing his versatility in her team. If you check all of Terrance’s dances, the only ones that were really good were the contemporary ones. All those had Shakti in it, and as much as i like her, i think Terrance and Shakti are playing it VERY safe with having Shakti only doing contemporary. All of Remo’s dances this season have been very disappointing. Geeta surprisingly has been doing a great job. Dharmesh being on Geeta’s team has done: indian with hiphop, Salsa, that cool acrobat type of contemporary (black song), the traditional dance (where he was sadly eliminated) and hiphop only ONCE with “chura ke dil mera”. That is a great thing! Now that is what you call versatility.
Mitthun finally showed his clear intentions by dancing with all female contestants on Friday. He just likes ‘Haat’ (hot) seducing dancers wearing short cloths. Any one doing classical dance will never get salute from him.
Sad Mitthun Da. We expect more than this, from you.

Absolutely right dhrmesh elimination is wrong i think there is setting working in dance india dance programe they are not in search of dancing star they are in seaching of only money.
What a nonsence yaar Dharmesh SIR got eliminated. I think it is not a fair decision.I think for Darmesh no coreographer is required he can coreograph him self much better than any one else.

well on that day.. dharmesh deserved to be eliminated.. agreed he’s an awesome dancer.. but a bad concept.. bad choreography w/e.. he wasnt as good as the other two.. and to be honest i think binny should have gone, but mithun didnt want 2 of Geeta’s contestants to be eliminated on one day again.

I don’t know Dharmesh Sir personally, but after seeing his on screen persona I feel and believe that he is not only a good Dancer but also a very good Human, Teacher and Student… I am sure he will not be happy seeing your violent reaction that is evident in the inappropriate language used in your comments…
If you really are his students, friends and well wishers the least you can learn from him is his Humility, Understanding, Maturity, Patience and super cool Ability to adjust & adapt to people, situations and circumstances.
We all must voice our sadness and disappointment… but not in a way that will disgrace Dharmesh Sir in anyway.

I Love the DID Season 2. Though i am Bhutanese from Bhutan, but am Always watch DID from Season 1 till2. Incase of the DID 2 ithink there should great charm of Show like calling the honour of guest everyday like inviting the Actors. though u have been doing that but its still there lack something. hope this is for the achievements of the DID
