Dance India Dance Season2 05th March *Kruti Eliminated*

Dance India Dance 5th March was dominated by Geeta Ki Gang. Dharmesh, Binny Sharma and Kishore got the top3 positions in voting this week. Mithun Chakraborty also announced auditions for Dance India Dance Little Masters. Binny Sharma’s performance once again was superb today. I have seriously started to like this girl :) Kruti from Terence Ki Toli has been voted out today by the public.

      yup. dancers in the TRUE SENSE. inme kya kami thi mujhe batao? inhon ne sab kuch kiya. they did everything for god’s sake. sirf kiya hi nahi, achchi tarha se nibhaya. they were freakin good at everything they did. mujhe janta ki standards jaanna hai. i want to know what the standard of the janta is for this contestants. what does janta expect from these people? i mean what is their fault?

          cmpletly agree wid u yar…Step Up 2 was a benchmark in hip hop street dancing..for all people who says Dharmesh is brilliant in hip hop..jus see Step Up2 and then evaluate where Dharmesh lies…
           
          but if Dharmesh do some act like that then it would be a big treat…

        This is a very sad episode. Kruti’s performance was the best today- she gave such a beautiful performance. You will be missed Kruti.

      Right dear, Tashu should’hv got eliminated in last time too and this time surely. It’s unfair, whenever anybody from Terrance ki toli gets eliminated it hurts as they are better than the others.

      true, but, kruti did not do so good in her last performance last suterday. and thats it. its the battle field of 3 min. you have to do it on stage and prove, no matter how good of bad  u r. i am a big fan of kruti, but sorrowly agree with the elimination.

    thr shud b some rounds like..1 day prop.1 day contemporary,1 day popping locking etc..each contestants shud dance on that format..
    bcause…shakti’s same dance , saajan’s same b boyin..
    one more thing this season thr is a hipe of dharmesh ..only the 1st dance was awesome…n othrs is okok..its a demoralising for othr contestants..
    like one day parvez n altaf was pushing tht dharmesh u r selected..v guys vl nt select in front of u..its vry bad…
    DID1 dancers like jai, alisha,siddhesh,prince,salman n mayuesh..
    thy wer mindblowing but this time..DID sucks…

        i agree with everything u said. its shocking to see kishore in the top 3. but  i would also like to know what happened to remo this season? yes very true that his contestants are not strong, but still the performances are not good because of the weak choreography. i admire him for his creativity, but so far, i havent seen a single act that i can see and say “wow how creative!”

          See All the Hype that is created on the Show DID-2 about Dharmesh is not because of dharmesh….. he is not the one who acts smarts on the show…. he is a simple guy WHO dances WHO just loves to dance…  he has never told anybody to call him “Dharmesh SIR….” it mithun da who has kept his name as sir….    See guys Dont hate anybody because he is famous….  look at his dance …..  for your kind information i can tell you one thing DHARMESH is not going to Win he will be eliminated but not too soon.. he will be  eliminated in last 2 or 3 Episode… and you know why…. just because of TRP…  if He win their will be no Twist in the show…. and if he is Eliminated in last episodes … This show will be discussed in each and Every house…. so guys just Chilll ,… ENJOY the Performances of All Contestant…  THIS IS ALL PLANNED..

            watch this n he has also performed dat tubelight act before …so see its all dharmesh n no geeta ….n the performance he gave in wild card is his standard ….n ppl who r comparing dharmesh with step up 2 ..u guys r fools …dharmsh is good in popping n definitely at international level ..i havent seen him doing bboying etc… i dun understand why r ppl so jealous of a humble dancer …wait n watch ..he will do sum stunning hip hop for sure …cus wat he is doing now are just old ideas of himself ..i have been seeing him for some years now …but truly …he is being used for trps …n i still believe very few ppl can match street dance standards

            Dude..i m nt sayin he is nt a good dancer…the point i want to clear that becoz of the hype that was created for Dharmesh…other deserving candidates didn’t get the attention of the audience…definately there is no one in comparison to Dharmesh in DID2..bt if u compare his performances wid DID1 ..he is not upto that level…
             
            and i want to clear you my point why i am comparing him wid Step up2..thats because Step up sets very high standard for locking-popping and hip hop..so nw if anybody do these styles definately he\she will be compared wid Step up…
             
            u can see many dance steps of Step Up that were as it is copied by the Indian choreographers…

      oh ya ..u r very right …this time DID disappoints…in DID1..we had a lot rocking performances by the all…and there were many candidates fighting for The Golden cap..bt for this time it seems like this dancers are just ordinary dancers…nothing special or mind blowing….

    I always liked Jay…so hes got the advantage on that one.

    Saajan seriously need to be out…what a waste. Other then bounching and flipping he cant do nothing…he cant even do simple dance. Atleast Kishor can dance along with his trick moves.

        i agree. saajan needs to do a new dance form if dharmesh needed to do a new dance form (which was enjoyable but again did not wow me..besides maybe the breaking of the tubes. i know dharmesh is capable of doing sumthin else and is capable of wowing people with performances other than hip hop..but it hasnt happened yet.)  so do sumthin new saajan. he NEEDS to do sumthin else or he should get out. and i commend jack on trying a new form. but dude u need to work on it big time becuz trying sumthin new is not enough. and shakti…again good that u tried sumthin new….but it still needs improvement. and kishore…what the freakin hell were u doing today? i mean its not his fault i guess. the concept was a copy but with way worse choreography. janta…this is ur #3 contestant. is this believable? i mean if an outsider was to watch this for the first time, they would be shocked to see this guy as janta’s fav.

      i lived Binnis performance and her smile….oh my god…it hits in the bottom of the heart…..she was awesome today……patli kamariya……….and D Sir Rocks today…….
      in 5th march episode Geeta rocks….ramo choreography was so casual….and i was not expecting politics from Remo……what he is saying to D Sir……he actually every time wants him to do something different…and D sir accepted the challenge and ..tried very well…even after Remo never sail WOW……but i liked Terrance he is always honest …with all the contestant…he knows his limitation….he always accept that…..so all in short Geeta is lucky this time….

      That is true… even you look at vote poll “Who should be eliminated on Dance India Dance 5th March?”  Kruti got less votes… they must be playing some games to get few people @ DID… I won’t say anyone’s name but there are 2 dancer who are not better than Kruti… Best of luck in life dear Kruti.       ok no. we will not have any of this racist talk raphsody! i personally welcome everyone and anyone who comes on this show as long as they got talent. dont care where they are from. but the problem aasim is that no one from pakistan auditioned. i mean if they auditioned and were good, then i dont see why not. and a word to raphsody. i take racist and sexist criticisms and comments very seriously. next time, before u make another comment on people not from india and make them feel as if they are inferior, maybe u’ll think that we all are primarily human beings. god created us that way.

          I agree with Raphsody that if Pakistanis will take part in show like DID will create political problems. For Ex. Cricket Match between INDIA and PAKISTAN. And Pakistan have there own channels, they can create there own show in Pakistan. Come on now, you do not need India. And if you want to take part in DID than you have to accept whatever decision makes by Indians.  If truly Pakistanis got eliminated than people will blame that “oh He/she got eliminated because he/she is Pakistanis”.  Like, still now people do, “oh he/she got eliminated because he/she is Muslim.” Come on now ….understand fact that people got eliminated because poor performance not because country or religion. Other wise Sharuhk Khan, Amir Khan, Dilip Kumar, Mina Kumari, Madhu Bala, Salman Khan, Salman (DID 1 Winner) and many more stares’….will not be in Bollywood…when Bollywood is located in INDIA the country highly populated with Hindus.

          Pakistanis have to come to India for Audition. Sorry, India does not need to go to Pakistan for audition. 

               India is 2nd largest country in world, It full of talented people.  Indian citizens and Indian world wide have first chance to be in show than any other.

             About Jack and Nikitasha originally from India even after Partition, and if they are in show today its all because they came to Mumbai for Audition. DID didn’t go to USA or Norway.

    Kruti eliminated…really?? really?? vow DID sucks now..if this is how the eliminations r gonna b..then god save the show…Its just a shame for DID that they lost such a beautiful dancer..come on..she is the only versatile dancer on the show..If someone really thinks that she deserved to go..i will tell you that person is just going by looks..I am totally shocked! Kruti is much better than Kishore, Saajan, Nikitasha n even Puneet for that matter…I was really hoping to see her in top 5…but look at our show..she is already out…If zee tv really wants to manipulate the votes and run the show only for TRP’s its a KIND request that make the eliminations sensible…Kruti is an amazing dancer..a very fine dancer…This season has most of the contestants good in one dance …not versatile.. unlike season 1..n now the only one contestant is gone…what the hell! okay I should stop now..coz its very obvious that I am extremely mad..but I have a good reason

    The voting system doesnt make any sense at all…Dharmesh highest voted which is well known..n he will remain so for a while…n I am tired of even bringing up this issue…so just chuck that out…Binny 2nd highest…looks n dance..Iam okay with her in 2nd position (although not fair based on her last weeks performances) coz she is a good dancer. Kishore 3rd highest..what a joke…I dont mean to be rude..but purely based on dance..he is the weakest contestant on an overall basis..today he gave the weakest performance…sab golmaal hai :D

    somebody said amrita is better than alisha from did 1..you really need to get a sense of dancing..alisha was one of the best contestants last season and far better than most contestants this season, especially amrita..with that said, kruti leaving is an absolute shame; this is as bad as parvez getting out..he was brilliant as well. this DID completely sucks and great contestants are going out way too soon.. and kishore being 3rd? oh wow, what else is gonna be there? the hype with dharmesh is way too huge, he really isn’t all that when it comes to dances other than hip hop..i honestly think kruti is much more talented and also the most versatile..this show is getting too irritating for me..i’m gonnna stop watching it..i just let out all my feelings about what’s going on in this show and i’m sorry if i hurt anyone’s feelings

      I dont completely agree with u princerij90. Yes the exit of Kruti was the most unfortunate thing but i am sure Mithu da will get her back…well but i dont agree that Alisha is better than Amrita in anyway….both of them are comendable dancers in their own right…both are very versatile and great in whatever they do. So saying that Alisha is better than Amrita is not correct.

        well my bad sree..i said that cuz i was trying to make a point about what somebody said before if you haven’t noticed..in any case, i haven’t really seen amrita dance as versatile or well as alisha did last season..may be it’s because of geeta, amrita hasn’t been able to show something extraordinary..i mean i always thought dharmesh was really good at the beginning until his performances kept worsening..i really think it’s about time they replace geeta with a new judge..no offense but dharmesh would be so much better off with remo or terrence and the hype about him would make sense..DID should replace geeta with another classical dance teacher who would have a better understanding of other dance forms than geeta does

      Alisha Singh is the best dancer in the history of dance india dance. I t was very dumb that she was runner up to Salman… The stiffest dancer ever. I mean no hard feelings to any die hard Salman fans but I think he was the worst dancer in the top 4.

    geeta should be out from DID and also Dharmesh should be out. If heis da best ( opinion by most of visitors ) he should not coutinue DID. If there is a voting line to out someone I will vote for dharmesh elimination by minimum 500 ids ( I will create ids for vote him out )

    none of the master mention that Shakti has done something different….asses expect for Terrence, yeah! Go Terrence , and Binny, sucked Kushboo is awesome at belly dancing if you can’t do it like her don’t bother and this is her second time trying belly dancing, first time she did a bit . You could see Remo wanting to say “you suck and can’t compare to Kushboo”  Of course Gita isn’t ready to accept the criticism. Sigh DD1 was soooo much better
    And Darmesh, winning the votes  b/c Gita is playing her cards well

      Shakti is my favorite dancer in DID 2. She is a very complete dancer; good expressions, great lines, massive power, and amazing technique… She is like the only female dancer who can do a parrowete in the whole DID2.

    i dont knw watz ur problem,kishore got the third place becoz of his performances not for ysdy bird act hope u knw, and the outsiders its their stupidity to judge a person in very short tym , and its ur idiotic move to post tat here, u got it?

    nw to all——ysdy wat geetha told i liked yaar, she told ” NAHI DADA I DIDN DO ANYTHING SUB BACHONE HI KIYA HAI “”" ha ha ha sorry wateve the story was bt it gv me laugh as i thot she told truth for 1st tym, remo is playing a bad game yaar, even i luv him, bt no excited comments for gud dances [cud hav commentd wid shaktis bull fyt dance]….amar is very very limited i feel in bull dance he was a gud company, uhhh sick they way he did ysdy , the way he hold the sword was the way smeone hold a glass of water…..kruti expected , y the hell remo wants dharmesh to try new wen he nly remais himself a copy cat…buttons song was supervly done by shakti, then such an important day why he gav such a risk to tashu??? and doing alll this still he believes kishore is the copy cat ysdy remo was a xerox machine

      giving one or two good performances doesnt make anyone an awesome dancer. thats exactly what kishore did. all of his perfromances were average except for maybe his solo last week. his duet with dharmesh was not his greatness. he just looked good becuz of dharmesh. however if u still think he deserved the 3rd position becuase of his good solo, then i would like to ask why kruti didnt receive this position in the week she performed classical? clearly that was an exceptional act too wasnt it? my point is that its unfair for contestants like kruti  who repeatedly give good performances and dont get anywhere near top 3, to have people like kishore, who did maybe one good performance, be in the top 3. its just not fair. and today, kishore went back to his average self again with the bird act. but i guess this was not entirely his fault. geeta ma really needs to hire someone to help with creative ideas.

    kindi no offense but you have a poor understanding of dance and you are obsessed with gita’s contestants..it’s pretty obvious from how you rated the contestants..you liked kishore’s and kruti’s was a a repetition? like we haven’t seen kishore doing air acts before..geeta mostly just gets her contestants to get on something which just rolls around in the air..utterly boring and repetitive..geeta’s contestants are gud except kishore but she is seriously talentless

    Dharmesh Amrita has done all type of dance form,which was excellent.
    Punit Tashu Jack Kruti also very good,but Kruti is out it is very bad.Binny is not better than others I am sorry to say.

    I don’t go by who is from where and who looks or dress better. I go by dance and someone does better than others each day. I felt bad that Kruti left because she has done all types or atleast some different styles and she did good. Lets see what happens now and who will leave next… I hope they again don’t kick up the better dancing girl/guy. BEST OF LUCK TO ALL… . You all try hard but… waiting for next dance(s).

    Shakti i think is fantastic can pull off any act just the way the master has thought…….amazing strength and versitality….although i agree that it was unfair for kruti to be out……Awwwwww…….Shakti and Amar were crying for her!!!!! Anyways just hope someone from Remo’s group (cough cough Nikkitasha) is out next week…….I didn’t like her performance a tad bit……no “wow factor”……anyways……i’m only like a gazillionth of a percent of the janta…..so my opinion really only counts here!!!!!!

    well solo performances are dissapointing den duel n trios but ya dharmesh rocks n yeah dharmesh has done hip hop, aerial act(black),freestlye(daud,jaane kyun)contemprary(mere haath me tera haath ho),indian hip hop(d tamil dance wid binny nagoba dharmesh),salsa(chori chori),classical(mangal mangal)and even popping locking many times so NETHING LEFT??????? well kruti was always fab dharmesh is gr88 so accept truth dont just find flaws.punit is also rocking.
    shakti is awesome even jack shashank was awesome.

    For all who  say that over HYPE for dharmesh sir. For me over HYPE is doing no good to him….due to this over HYPE and everyone thinking he is the best dancer…the EXPECTATION from him is raised….he is treated with the different scale in mind……..even though he perform  a good and strong dance..we all take it for granted..oh he is DHARMESH sir….and because of this HYPE only the master are also over conscious when he is performing……and after all GEETA mam is also No good for DHARMESH sir….she is not able to extract best from him. But still he ROCKS……

      Hi pankaj me from pakistan. and i am watching DID2 this time and i really enjoy DID2 yes pervez was gud and he eliminated but i like other also like jack and dharmesh, dharmesh is gud and not bad which you are thinking if anyone knows dharmesh will be win then why u not told zeetv to shut the DID2 lets see and enjoy dont put any negative comments on anyone just enjoy and give good comments all of them thx.

    Geeta mam always told other keep their foot on earth. Then what happen to binny this time I feel she just done what she did it last time. I feel this time geeta get charm and feeling Terrance & remo seem is no mood to give their best if they decides to give their best we all see really very good performances.

    Based on ur single comments none of contestants will be out???? Its people who love most & about dharmesh he dances with only on style hippop & not other style he did ganpati bapa but that was very easy style…. I think Amar is bettr than him & Sajan too ??? Dharmesh is purely a Hiphop dancer like sajan does B-boy. they cants do other style. I think Kunwar amar, Kishor & Puneet should be there… Dharmesh gets more vote becoz of popularity not becoz of Dance as Soumya & his friends made him popular…….Dharmesh expressions very bad. Amar has good expressions. Can dharmesh do a Poll dance like Jacko & Kishor. He cant do becoz his needs lot strength….?? Just try hanging on a rod in your home &moving ur body ob it  u will feel it how difficult it is… bye

      Can Kunwar,Jack and Kishore can do songs like “Rasiya” …May be punit i am not sure…
      Dharmesh sir was excellent in Rasiya..I am talking about him only because the other 2 (Shruti and Teena) are not anymore in the competition. He is attempting well other dance forms and also connects well with audience.
      Kunwar did OK but looked lost..Jack is somehow fake in expressions when song demands..Punit i donot want to talk about him…

    hey people, Dharmesh sir is always consistent, he has been able to create the eagerness in people to see more of his performances ! he has always been by praised for his excellent,almost near to perfection performances  by masters and grandmasters !…that is why he outshines others,is it his fault that he is the best !!!! So whether we like ‘D’ sir or not ,as a dance lover we should always vote him and keep best talent safe….(I see some people have probem with him for no cause !!!!)

      I had respect for REMO (loosing after each episode because what he is saying for other contestants, he himself does not apply for his own contestants and aspects lot from other contestants eventhough they do well) and I used to not like Geeta ..But somehow Geeta is improving..While REMO knows his contestants are weak..He has started playing with words when he comments..

    Wow. I don’t even know how to express my disappointment in words. I think there was shock on everyone’s face on hearing Kruti’s elimination. If this is the route the show is going, then I find it hard to believe that DID isn’t rigged by ZeeTV.
    Just as bad as Parvez’s elimination. And how “interesting” that the top three voted contestants were from Geeta’s Gang. I’m tired of Geeta getting over-defensive about her contestants’ flaws. She’s a judge, she should be able to take constructive criticism. I know Remo and Terrence do it too, but Geeta’s the weakest of them all.
    Of course I have my favorites, but I try hard to be fair in my opinion of every contestant. But it’s hard to swallow Kruti’s elimination when clearly there are weaker dancers than her.

    Loved Binny’s performance for today……   umm Dharmesh good but nah…….     Kruti sad that shez leaving. Nitikatsha good dancer and wish u all the best for future.cant speak english etc…
    I think there should be an episodes where the roles should be reversed to see how versatile our contestants really are….
     
    If Grand Master brings back someone it should be based on their talent, not because of their personal situation like poverty or that they

    Terence Ki Toli – A review…
     
    Amarjeets Mayurbhanj Dance – was not bad as dances go.. however what surprised me was none of the masters commented on the numerous mistakes, at least six, where Amar missed a step, or lost balance or had a problem picking up a prop etc etc. If an untrained eye such as mine can spot so many errors I am sure the masters would have seen many more…
     
    Terrance has the dubious honour of picking out even the minutest flaw in other contestants performances chose to totally ignore the glaring errors in his protégé ? What surprises me is why Remo too chose to remain silent…Anyway coming back to the dance it was not bad as dances go but somehow it was not very effective either, I have seen Amarjeet perform better and it seemed a bit lackluster yesterday.
     
    Jack’s jaane tu meri kya hai – Jack is one of the better dancers on the show and I really love the way he dances. In spite of having a body which seems to be on the heavier side he manages to do some lovely and graceful steps. I love to see him perform. Coming to yesterday’s performance, I have seen the same concept done by Remo and Salman in DID1. In fact some of the steps were same as well. I have been feeling all along that Terrance and Geeta are copying from Remo’s concepts of DID1. They just seem to have become more blatant now.
     
    In spite of the concept being copied the performer retains the capability of improving the performance and ensuring that the worth is more than the sum of its parts, however Jack yesterday could not do it. Come on Jacky boy…I am counting on you for some good performances… buck up man…
     
    Shakti’s na jaane kahan se aayi hai – With this song Terrance is moving into Geeta’s territory. Geeta Moo takes some song (Pabhu Devas –Humse hai mukabla, Kamal Haasan- Appu raja) and copies the entire choreography…I have noticed that in most of the performances the masters like to change the existing choreography and add their own inputs.. Not so Geeta who prefers (On account of lack of creativity I presume) to copy the entire dance as it was.
     
    Yesterday terrance did the same, the dance done by Shakti was mostly what was done by Sridevi in the song. Now there is nothing wrong with this but the fact remains that the original song had very basic choreography and nothing in it to tax the contestants at this level. Secondly in spite of the basic choreography the reason why the song was so popular and so watchable even today is because Sridevi with her charm and joie de vivre had infused the song with a beauty which was something shakti couldn’t do. Shakti came across as struggling to perform the basic moves and was nowhere near what the original was .. sorry shakti..
     
    Kruti performed Semi Classical Dance on Satyam Shivam Sundaram and again the choreography was not of standard, however in spite of the choreography Kruti with her own efforts stood out and in my opinion her performance was the best of terrance ki toil sadly she has been eliminated. (WTF?!)

    People, remember, this is a public forum, so if someone makes a comment, it is not directed at you personally unless the person quotes you or say “At (username):” – I notice people getting wrongly defensive!
     
    On the subject of Dharmesh Sir: Let’s just not talk about him. There’s those of us who are lunatics and think he is a dancing god and does everything great, and there are others who like to pick flaws in everyone, including him, and will always say he looks weird doing anything that’s not hip-hop. We’re never going to agree, so it’s wasted energy.
     
    I was moved by the fact that Shakti, Amar, and Amrita were crying for Kruti. And everyone was clearly shocked…a lot. I feel like there is something fishy here…
     
    I also don’t think it’s right to say “OMG JANTA WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU’RE ARE DUMB RETARDED” etc. etc. We are a portion of the janta, and what gives us the right to criticize who others choose to vote for? I disagree with those people who excessively vote for one person (e.g. sending hundreds of votes for one person) and I feel that those people have 1) no life, and 2) no respect for playing the game fairly. But you know, if you’re gonna do that, don’t let us stop ya! I feel like there ought to be a way to over come this – limit votes by mobile number and accounts online by IP addresses or something.
     
    Yay for having a girl in the top 3, but I was admittedly surprised that all 3 were Geeta’s – Binny’s performances last week were not that good that would warrant a number #2 spot, and Kishore benefited likewise from having performed with Dharmesh, I think.
     
    Performance thoughts:
    Kruti’s outing put me in tears! She did not deserve to go! Saajan keeps b-boying (it’s getting really old really fast) and Tashu is finally performing better. Kishore’s performance was pretty…meh…average in my opinion. That usage of the harness is actually pretty lame. The flips in his performance were cool, but besides that, yeah, whatever.

    Shakti was really cute today! It was a nice blend of a lot of different styles, and yes, she looks like a petite little Ronald McDonald lol :) Amar’s performance was okay, not that impressive in my opinion. Binny’s performance was kinda so-so today too, especially by her own standards.

    Amrita was on fire today! I loved it! Puneet was pretty good too. Jack was decent today, it was a good change for him. I’m actually confused by what Remo said about people dancing with no hands or a leg for a performance, but whatever… 

    D-Sir was great today, but not mind-blowing. He is getting better in other styles, though!

    Can’t wait to see what we have in store tomorrow!

      6) Punit…Remo is telling geeta that she is copying his style..What r u doing Remo?????Copying the music style like D sir did in wild card round..forcefully promoting and creating signature style of Punit…not impressive man…forget it..

    Binny Sharma Khatooba Khatooba, Belly Dance Style – Binny has a nice smile and that is working wonders in getting her all these votes I am sure..Because her dance is certainly no great shakes. She certainly dances well but then again I have seen a large number of dancers who came for the audition dance equally well some perhaps even better…
     
    Coming to yesterday’s performance we have seen much better belly dance before on this stage in DID1 many times, Binny’s performance was nowhere near what was done earlier…. The novelty of having her on a firework laden wheel did not work for me sorry…However I had the feeling that she was under pressure yesterday… could there be competition within ? Geeta moo’s growing reliance on Amrita making binny insecure ? Food for thought….
     
    Dharmesh’s Moriya re – Dharmesh is a natural dancer, the commitment and zeal with which he performs any form of dance given to him is amazing. He not only dances well he looks as if he enjoys every minute of it. It is true that he is best at hip-hop and when he attempts other more structured forms his lack of formal training shows through however having said that, I would say that the zest with with he makes the attempts justifies supporting him. One can have a general practitioner or one can have a specialist, it is difficult to expect a doctor to be a specialist in all parts of the body… ( How is that for an analogy ? : ))
     
    Coming to yesterday’s performance the start was good and seemed very effective, however dharmesh lost me soon after when he started breaking the tubes and dancing amidst the glass. I agree that it was an extremely dangerous and difficult stunt and it must have taken a lot of hardwork and preparation to attempt such a stunt on the stage however I was waiting to be entertained with dance and not with feats of derring-do. It is somewhat akin to going to an Italian restaurant with a mind to enjoy lasagna and being served masala dosa : )
    ( Not that I don’t love masala dosa…but you know what I mean : )
     
    Keeping in mind all the fan base that Dharmesh has, it would take monumental stupidity and ignorance on the part of Geeta Moo to damage his chances in the competition, however unfortunately for Dharmesh Geeta Moo is all that and more : )
     
    Kishore’s Kaise hai Yeh Rut – Since the first time I saw kishore sitting among the contestants wearing his costume I was having a feeling of Déjà vu, this culminated and amazed incredulity when he started his performance, the entire performance was a bad copy of the concept exhibited by Remo and Salman in DID1. But as I have said before, this is not the first time that Geeta is copying Remo’s concepts, it is only that she has become more shameless and brazen about it now.
     
    Surprisingly when Remo mentioned that this concept had been done by him before, Geeta had the audacity to try to defend her action by saying that ‘sur saat hain par gaana alag hai’. I have for ever and anon wondered how some of the famous names in bollywood so blatantly copy from successful movies and songs of the west. Yesterday I had the dubious pleasure of seeing one such thick skinned copy cat in action : )
     
    In fact come to think of it, in the previous DID Remo had exhibited a large number of innovative and amazing concepts, while terrance and Geeta performances were mostly devoid of any creativity. Is the fact that all his concepts are being plagiarized preventing Remo from showing more of his creative genius? More food for thought…
     
    However coming back to the performance, even though the concept may be copied (which reflects poorly on the capability of the teacher) the performer still retains the capability of infusing the performance with his own talent and making it memorable, sadly yesterday’s performance by Kishore did nothing like that.. At times I have the feeling that Kishore too is a better dancer than what we have seen of him till now… perhaps all the contestants should be rotated one week between the masters just to see if there is any aspect of the contestants which has been untapped till now ? Still More food for thought ?
     
    Amrita performed on Hitchki – Coming to amrita, I must say that she is a performer who like dharmesh is very committed and very hardworking. But my personal feeling is that contrary to dharmesh she is not very grounded. Her mannerisms and her drama all speak of an over confidence and a superiority complex which I think she is suffering from. Amrita should know that while technical excellence is something good, it is not everything. To really gain the love of people something more that technical excellence is required.
     
    Compared to a painting of the Taj Mahal, A photograph of the Taj would be more pretty, however in spite of all its technical errors we would rather hang a painting of the Taj in our Drawing room rather than a photograph. Art which has been invested with love and feeling goes to a plane which technical excellence can only hope to aspire.
     
    Coming to yesterday’s performance, it was good and clearly the pick of Geeta’s Gang. Though Amrita would do good to keep in mind the vagaries of the Indian public.

        He copies from western dances. When punit and bhavana performed on “Apni to jaise taise” on Tango..the lifts and steps i show in “so you think u can dance”…even concepts he copies.

          last year remo copied a choreography of a western dance (cant remember the place or the name of the video)it was with prince and sunita. raha saval geeta kaa, yes the consept was the SAME, everyone can have the same consept you know!!     Shashank got eliminated when Tashu should’ve..
    & now Kruti’s gone when Tashu should’ve..
    it’s not DID that sux..its the JANTA!
    because looking at every1s reaction you can tell that they’re all shocked and didn’t expect that to happen. Krutis’ performance was flawless and even Shashanks’ solo was flawless and even though Tashus’ performance wasn’t that great in comparison to the two TWICE in a row she has been saved!

    If Mithunda doesn’t bring back either of the two, especially Kruti then yes..DID does suck!

    I watch DID not for the dance but for the drama.
    I really think that most of the dancers are just good in their own style and average overall. Which makes dance value of the show go for a toss… for me.
    My top 5 performances till date
    1. Dharmesh (First audition performance)
    2. Shakti (Chaliya Chaliya)
    3. Binny (O re piya)
    4. Dharmesh (Chura ke dil mera)
    5. Tashu (Audition performance)
     
    I think all the other performances are either Average, lame or just plain stupid.

    I think Dharmesh is best, he can dance from the basic level to the top. I saw DID season 1 which was awsum and I’ve been watching DID season2 all the way through even though I am from U.K but I like watching DID. Love the songs remixes as well as the dance, Top 3 contestants will be Dharmesh, Binni and jack or amrita.

    Mithun Da has 2 powers:
    1) Veto power to stop Voting results..that is purely his decision
    2) but for RIGHT TO RECALL..u guys need to understand what he said.
    After Janta’s permission he can use this power fully..
    So i am guessing this power when he will use ..he will provide 2-3 nominees from his side and he will let JANTA to vote again for who deserves to be back…I keep my fingers crossed for Dharmesh sir for this..

    Well i see many thing coming up, however here in UAE girls(obviously) as well as guys are crazy for DHARMESH SIR. I dont wanna predict on who gonna win, they are all esteemed dancers.If DHARMESH SIR is only there for TRP as someone predicted then that proves that he’s got the stuff. I only know that this is a Dance show and I find that there is this fella who wins hearts and mind an is a stunner every time. Nothing negative for others, however my vote is for DHARMESH SIR. my best wishes for all.

    Guys, i dont know why u cant see through Amrita – shes just overdoing all the acts – and does so much drama – no wonder Geeta loves her – the next drama queen.. anyway i want to see her go next

    Dharmesh – needs to start showing some expressions – thats what is makinbg me lost confidence in him

    I think Terrance is resp for Kruti’s elimination – because he gives tge best dances and best costumes to Shakti – even poor Amar got pathetic choreography when he was not with Shakti

    Here’s my thought on yesterday’s episode…..personally i felt i have seen better performances by every one of the contestants…a pretty average day for DID 2…..
    Kishore….liked the starting a lot…hatching of the egg and how he came out.. but once in air i felt he cld hav kept his feet together to give a more bird like effect… the splits were splendid…but over all the concept was not new and since salman was my fav contestant last season.. he didnt match up to the same standard at all…..
    Dharmesh Sir…Wat to say about him!!!…I always love his dances but this time tho his dance esp his energy was great.. the steps themselves seemed pretty simple for a dancer of his calibre!!! I really want to see him do some exceptional choreography!!!
    Binny…she looks FAB… but her dance was a let down…from a dancer who gave us ‘Ore Piya’ and ‘Jag Suna Suna’ … this didn’t seem upto the mark…I feel the way she used to perform before beheterein bara was way better!!
    Amrita… she is an awesome dancer.. the way she moves and the energy she brings to the stage… i am captivated by every single one of her performances and this one was no exception…..contd…

      Puneet….His dance was good but didn’t Wow me….i think he doesn contemporary better.. obviously cos he’s trained in it…
      Saajan…the B Boy… ya i know he keeps repeating himself…but he does it so well that i definitely enjoy his performances….i loved some of the steps he did today… it was soo soo difficult!!!!
      Nikitaasha…She was so great at the auditions.. but slowly somewhere down the line her dances didnt turn out so great.. thsi was a good attempt at something different.. but thats all….
      Kunwar Amarjeet…This guy is really improving.. loved the bull act he did last week.. and yes he did make mistakes this time.. but mayurbhanj chau is very difficult…really amazed terence actually tried sumthing like that on his contestant….
      Jack – O….I love the way he spirals on his toes.. but he needs to strengthen his act more…its easy to capture the audience and wow them a couple of times but he needs to sustain it…thats a way bigger challenge!!
      Shakti…She’s my fav and i do tend to get biased..Today i was really amazed by the fact that she never let the audience catch on to the fact that something went amiss with the choreography!!! Great Job!!!
      Kruti…Wat can i say abt this terrific dancer!!!Really sad to see her go.. truly enjoyed each one of her performances.. she is so so versatile….and the way she brought the purest form of classical to this stage was outstanding…..i really and truly wish she comes back….

    Amrita .. it’s defantly out class performance. i must say. and i tell you guys that only Amrita are strongiest amoung all girls Right Now!. if she can performance Hip Hop Dance too like what Dharmesh & other do, so it’s really relly tuffiest too amoung in boys. can Dharmesh have ability to do attempt Like what dance performances Amrita did ?. i think it’s difficult 4 Dharmesh. may be he can attemp it. but not like what how Amrita performed, Lucky Girl in my Opinion.

    Kishore performance. msg was good, but she totally missed that the weather this concept connect with people or not, G33ta total lost this time with kishore, he was right say that the people connect with this act or not. when i listen the song i go back 2 the DID1 where there Remo & Salman did Same Dance song, but compare with the Remo & Salman attempt , Geeta kishore act Very Very Avarage, Bad Try G33ta Ma’aM Remo & Salman choreography was Cute & Awesome.

    Punit attempt was Good, but as compare Last w33k Amar attmept was much Good Energy then this. G33ta was right, his energy lil LOW.

    Why are such versatile and capable contestants getting out?
    Maybe it isn’t the contestants faults, but sometimes it is.

    Quite a few people are getting out due to the poor coreography. Is it the contestants fault that they have bad coreography? No, of course not.
    Is it the masters fault? Yes, of course it is.

    Unreasonable politics? Of Course. Take Meenu Panchal as an example. She got out for no reason at all. Well, Meenu performed with Nikitasha and Shashank on a  saturday. The judges said that she did better than Nikitasha and Shashank. But, the next day Meenu was in the bottom three. Here,she performed very well and the judges also said that she did a great job. Yet, she gets OUT.

    It seems as if it does not matter if you dance good or not on a given day.

    We as the JUNTA must vote for a contestant based on if they have done justice to the coreography, not if we like the dance or not due to it not being your style.

    Hey Guys…. In my personal opinion KRUTI is out cuz of Terrance :( .. He seems to have some liking for Shakti and puts all his efforts and energy in Shakti’s choreography..she always get the best songs and dances (with in Terrance’s team and not in DID :) ).  Last week if he had paired amar and kruti for that bull dance (don’t remember the name) may be kruti will still be here and I strongly believe she shud be here…she’s way way way better than shakti… she was paired with Jack and that too in style she’s not that good in. On ther other hand Shakti did classical – :) or atleast tried her hands at it- in solo and then came back to wat she best in duet dancing. Kruti on other hand got unfair deal with solo and duet both not upto the mark kinda dances.
    even yesterday’s shakti dance was ” oh so ok” and what kruti did last week on the table was way better. Had Terrance been fair then probably Shakti wud’ve been out rather than Kruti and there wudn’t be so much fuss about it ;-) ….
    At the end of the day don’t blame public for anything… after all junta is junta and they can make a star out of anyone they like. It’s not only about putting on gud clothes and luking good… u really need to connect with the audience which unfortunately not one has done it like D, who from first audition was gr8 and will be gr8. See it’s like talking about games (basketball, Olympics..etc ) when you know that majority of people in India will follow cricket more than anything else…and here itself u lost the connectivity with majority of the junta..
    D IS BEST DANCER according to me and sole reason for me to watch DID2.
    D ROCKS!!!

      Luvdid, I completely disagree with you. All of Kruti’s choreography is fantastic…. but she cannot dance it as well as Shakti does. Shakti is very consistent. Unlike Kruti. Some of her dances are stupendous, but some r so horrible they make you want 2 puke..

    For all who  say that over HYPE for dharmesh sir. For me over HYPE is doing no good to him….due to this over HYPE and everyone thinking he is the best dancer…the EXPECTATION from him is raised….he is treated with the different scale in mind……..even though he perform  a good and strong dance..we all take it for granted..oh he is DHARMESH sir….and because of this HYPE only the master are also over conscious when he is performing……and after all GEETA mam is also No good for DHARMESH sir….she is not able to extract best from him. But still he ROCKS……

    Kruthi is a real good dancer, she can do all types of dances, i dont like tashu, she was not even able to perform her dance form that is she trained in. This is all planned tashu is still there bcos they want NRI votes. Can any one remember a outstanding and memorable performance by Tashu,  kruti has it to her credit. She is definitely better than some of the other dancers. This is all planned, she is out bcos she is not from a specific region.

    we all know dance is going good, fight is going on..all is giving best part…one thing i wanna ask..why u ppl criticizing  Dahrmesh….he dance well..others are also do…all have fans…..i know u why u ppl are criticizing him cause u all love him too much and wanna such specific dance which make a DHAMAKA….geeta is not able to score the ability to make him perform on the stage…all mentors know his dance ability…..such a way the thing is not coming out…but his performance…the task he had given…he perform well…i m waiting his dance under remo and terrance….dont know he ll win or not….bt his dance is so attractive for all one…who love him or who hate him or who dislike him….but kahi na kahi sabke dil me hain…sochta hai har koi…dekhna chahta hai har koi….and this is called FANS….jane anjane me fan to har koi hai….

    It seems as if it does not matter if you dance good or not on a given day.
    We as the JUNTA must vote for a contestant based on if they have done justice to the coreography, not if we like the dance or not due to it not being your style.

    BTW: Rayo Bakhirta is awesome!!!

    i dont think so tht Geeta deserve what she got, I never ever believe that Geeta do this type of dance style. She dosen’t know anything. Which already proved in last session. may be this time Geeta has good luck that she teach her group that much good dance, I am dem sure that she must be taking help from someone else.

    This time I dont like DID that much like last time, this time its just showes compition & argument to ditch each other.

    kruti eliminated was shocking and sad to see such good performer getting eliminated.It’s all planned and not a competition at all.Just politics.Amrita sucks and should have been eliminated.

    Samajh me nahi aa raha hi Dharmesh se itta pareshan kyu hua jaa raha hai, jabki usske performance lajawaab hai.  He deserve to be in top 5.  Fifth march ka dance shayad first DID performance hoga, jaha stunt ke saath glasses aur tubes break kiye body pe.  But not much appriciation from Remo.  Punit aur Sajaan ko itta high profile rakhakha hai Remo ne, but siwaaye pagalpan dikhane ke, kuchh dance to dikha nahi ussme abhi,  usse kahi achchha dance Jack, Kuwar aur Kishor karte hai.

    Dharmesh Sir, iswar aapko buri nazar se bachaye, U R A TALENT… and none can deny that.  I request everyone… please vote for Dharmesh, he need you, dont think, that he is the highest voted, and he will get vote anyway….

    Kai baar dhoka ho jaata hai, aagar aapko Dharmesh ka performance achchha laga, pls keep voting for him… pls his talent deserve ur voting.  Please dont play with him for the sake of TRP, usske talent ko politics na banao.  Aisa kaun aaya hai ab tak DID me jisske 5 student top 36 tak aaye ho.  Yaar doosre ki burai nikalana sabse aasaan kaam hota hai, usski achchhai dekho pls.

      Main D sir ke bhole pan ki ek baat share karti hun: Jab D sir Vadodara vapis gaye eliminatio ke baad..kisi ne autograph manga..D sir ko nahi malum kya likhana chahiye…so innocent..he asked somebody what to right. He is shy speaking in front of public..Per zee tv ne kafi bulvaya unse

    The link below is the Bird Act of  Salman from DID one which was coreographed by Remo. Compare this dance to the one that Kishore has done. I think that Geeta’s version was an utter flop. ( Not to be mean, but I think her version was a mess in comparison to Remo’s version.)

      1) Amrita far better than Shakti..Shakti is only good at contemporary in which Amrita is also excellent (Kaise batayein jo tujko chahe and Dil kho gaya kisika ho gaya)
      2) Dharmesh little better than Parvez

      Definatly i go with Amrita, bcoz her Strengh & Energy level is much better then Shakti, people caste vote for Shakti coz of her Face, but as Compare Performer Amrita is ahead then shakti.

      btw Dharmesh & Parvez hmm well both are Good, but don’t know why parvez verstylity we feel better than Dharmesh buddy. it was i feel.

      Strictly based on dancing, versatility and my views, my top 5 is:
      1)Amrita
      2)Dharmesh
      3)Jack
      4) & 5)Binny/Shakti (Yes, these both because I absolutely love Binny’s attempts to try something new, and she always does well considering she is untrained. With Shakti, I have not been impressed with her other attempts except Contemporary which is her forte. But I like both!)

Just to say who ever said that Nikitasha should improve herself in her dialect. That really pisses me off. Why hell should she. What is wrong that she is from America and has a dialect. I do understand a little more hindi could do. But there is no need to actually completely change it. No go hatting on her just because she is from America. I know you guys will go screaming and being mad at me. But since I have seen American dances(You guys are going to be really mad) she is better than Alisha. Now to talk about her. She was good, I know that. But not better than what is the name, Salman and Jai. So don’t go yelling at me. That is just my oppinion which I can freely express.     Wat an end to a beautiful dancer. All i ask pple on this forum is whether the contestants are really judged on performance or votes, cuz i dont see anythin happening either. The winner for the show is already decided and why create such a harakiri. Kruti was a beautiful dancer with so much of grace. She has won so many hearts by her performances. Other contestants too revere her as the best like wat jack and kunwar said. Its a privilege to dance with such a talented dancer. And wat Zee tv does is take her out of the show. Totally unreasonable and not justified at all. She was so cute and i cant get enuf of her expressions. None of the contestants have that. She was the only one who has put her heart and soul into her dancing. She came there with a aim of fulfillin her dads wish and i am sure he is happy wherever he is looking at his daughter grow and respond so maturedly. The only dancer i had respect for is lost. I hope Grandmaster realises this and gets her back to the show cuz a contestant like her are rarely seen. Grandmaster pls take a cue from the responses the site has got. even dharmesh dint enjoy it when he was out. Not a single bad comment for kruti inspite of not being highlighted on the show. Watever GM does would be the best i am sure. But pls consider the best dancer rather than considering favoritism. I love you Kruti and pls dont lose hopes cuz the best is still to come and i am sure you will make a comeback..

    i just wish these comments are being read by the judges as well.coz this message is for them as well the directors.dont know how to convey this directly to them so kindly plz pass it off if any of crew reading this.am a big fan of DID. personally feel this time the dancers r far better than wat we had last time.but sadly it has become boring now.only because we have the same choreographers.plzzzzzzzzzzz m sick of seeing the same dances again n again.slowly dance is lost n its more of acrobatics now.geeta ma has become a grandma now.we can keep the same judges but will not it be better if new choreographers are given a chance.plzzzzzzzzzz save this excellent show.otherwise good dancers like kruti will keep getting eliminated
