Dance India Dance 26th February, Shashank, Shashank O Shanshank why would you have to leave after such a performance, SUPERB you were today. Dharmesh, Jack Samules and Saajan Singh are the top 3 contestants of this week. Other than Shashank Jack and Nikkitasha were superb today. Shashank’s last performance was good, but didnt perform that well in the past, this was his best so far. I personally think that jantaz decision was fair. All the best Shashank.
Secondly, I don’t understand why some people are after some participants and Geeta as well. I understand everyone has their favorites, but I think people should vote according to the performances and stop giving preferential treatment to some participants and masters. I am a big fan of the style of Terence, but I also believe all the masters put their heart and soul in all their participant’s performances to make them the best, and that’s why the show is what it is, and its veryyy entertaining. It is also understandable that they are going to appreciate their efforts more than that of others. So guys please stop bitching about Geeta and participants that you don’t like and ENJOY the show. It only creates bad vibes.

I really agree! I just hope that the contestants will be recognized for the hard work they put in. As a dancer myself, it sometimes irritates me when people take for granted my hard work. Dance, I think, is never as easy as it looks. Terence, Geeta, and Remo put a lot of work into their choreographies and the contestants work hard to pull the piece off. I just want every episode to end on a good note. Maybe if Shashank had more chances to show his field of dance, who knows, maybe he’d still be here.
Let’s just hope for the best!

I always think that connecting to audience is really important to get the votes….. that is the reason why Salman could win DID 1 , Dharmesh and jack are so famous…I never found shashank, amar and kishore connecting to audience….this will lead to their elimination soon.

Another episode full of entertainment!!!.
Looks Remo is back to the field to fight for Golden cap. He is very smart in speaking. He spoke the truth about Dharmesh. But it is not his fault.
Geeta Kapoor is not able to utilize and bring best out of Dharmesh. She gave strong choreography to other 3, not to Dharmesh. I really felt mercy for Dharmesh. He is alone fighting with the support of audience. She is now after keeping her words “not to give everything to Dharmesh” of audition.
He is dancing even in poor choreography and winning the hearts of people. He needs support of votes and strong choreography.
Jack performance was simple but because of choreography (fire crackers) he looked good. Otherwise his dance steps were not new.
Now both Remo and Terrence will attack Dharmesh and he will be speechless because of poor choreography.
My best wishes and pure feelings to him for future performances.

Yes, it was so bad that the two masters couldnt say a thing she did wrong in her dance!! Geeta could only say she did simple steps!! I wonder how hard the steps are that she has given to Dharmesh to mix in his hip-hop style in the past two weeks?! Ha ha!!! Not to mention how Binny sucked in the Manipuri when Geeta Maa is the classical “expert”!!!! LOL…

It is unfortunate that shashank had to leave..after performing so good..But he was never able to connect with the audience..poor guy..
Dharmesh is soooooo overhyped and after seeing the episode I felt that DID2 is all fixed. There is no doubt he is going to win because this show is fixed. No need to waste money and vote for contestants. All the judges, hosts, participents, even Mithun seemed to be afraid of saying anything negative about Dharmesh. Hats off to Remo for speaking the truth. Terrence tried to point out the same thing last time.
Looks like Geeta came prepared with the list of dances Dharmesh performed to defend him.
She expected he will get criticism……………Hate Geeta Moti..She even got Mini helping with the choreographies. Still cannot do a good job.
The other styles Dharmesh performed are group dances or duets and he performed average in them. Geeta easily blamed other contestants if the performances were criticised. When it comes to solo..she cannot blkame others and so she makes him do the same style again and again. Dharmesh did not admit he was doing the same style instead tried to defend himself when Remo commented. He is not so honest. I used to like Dharmesh but not any more. The other contestants are more truthful, humble, hardworking than Dharmesh. For example what Shashank did , Dharmesh can never do it that gracefully I think.Not ragging Dharmesh but feeling let down and disappointed. After all you write so much about a person when you really liked him at one point of time.

Remo is now playing. Dharmesh sir did not do whole dance new, but very few steps he did new. Remo said he is smart in catching beats. As a dancer if you can’t connect with music or catch the beats then what is meaning of dancing? Dharmesh is great dancer – he is able to catch little little beats and do full justice to whatever dance he is given.
Please Remo tell it in a humble way otherwise from next time no contestant will say he or she is GOD for them. The trust will be lost.
If Remo you have guts then tell on the stage that Geeta is poor in choreography.
And want to add…
and also tell that Geeta is not able to handle Dharmesh.
Dharmesh sir is very honest and humble.
He told Remo that next time I will do completely different style.
Dharmesh said right that little little beats were in a new form. As a choreographer Dharmesh knows. Because Remo is sitting in the master chair does not mean he is right.

2) I agree Remo is experienced and senior. Dharmesh was just answering his question and he told what he felt. Maya1987 is interpreting on her way that he lied – no he did not.
U will see Punit’s and Shashank performances this weekend (Feb 26-27). Punit is doing same and same thing – yelling contemporary again and again. Saajan is doing routine steps. Only Brucely steps were new and that for me is not dance, its rather fighting steps.

BTW, Shashank and Bhavana were my favorite of all contestants because he was “GEM” in his dance form but unfortunately in our country we are not able to appreciate it much. Thats why he and bhavana got eliminated. Remo has very sharp eyes to recognize the talents.
Dharmesh sir – I am a fan of his locking and popping. Shashank was able to do because he got master like Remo.
Dharmesh sir can’t learn anything because of Geeta maa. Feel sorry for him and I will always support him.

Look at Remo and Terrence they are so innovative…to win this competition u really need smart master who can hide your weaknesses and bring out best that suits you.
I feel so bad for Dharmesh sir. He is brilliant but donot want to loose him again because of her wrong selection of choreography.

although not too many like geeta maa (including me) i think we all agree that her choreography standard has really shot up several notches…
whther thats due to her assiatnt mini, or sumone else ( she’s lucky to have dharmesh and amrita, both of who are choreographers and techers apart from being dancers), still u gotta admit that her dances have becum mouch better these past few episodes…
secondly i must congratulate geeta maa on gradually becuming more impartial and kind to others’ contestants… ive noticed her behavior has really improved over the past few weeks… shes showing less drama , less politics, and more dance…

I agree punit has done no good so far. He is only good in his “animal contemporary style” (I donot know what u can call exactly). He should be out the day parvez was out. But Remo again played politics and put shashank for Kasauti. In Yogeshwar act, PUNIT did very bad just keep circling. Shashank atleast did very nice Ballet.

Feb 27th episode made me think “am I really watching acting show or dance show?”
Because Punit and Saajan did contemporary dance of two brothers. It was more acting than dancing. Punit is keep doing contemporary – third time in a row. Why Remo can’t see this?

and in todays act, the dance demanded acting…
in our classical dances as well, ‘abhinaya’ or expressions and ‘acting’ as u call it, is stressed a lot… does that mean these dances shud not be called dances?
in fact not just contemporary, rather DANCE as a whole was born out of the human desrire to tell a story….
whats wrong woth telling a story thru ur dance?
and btw, NOWHERE in the performance, did ‘acting’ overshadow the ‘dance’….

when i started watching contemporary i liked it a lot… but over some time as i watched more and more, i started getting fatigued…

Today’s show was pretty good. Eliminations are always the sad part of the show, but in order to move on, someone has to go. Sadly, the first time Shashank shined, he had to leave.
Here are my favorite performances reviews in order.
1) Shashank –> I must say that Shashank’s performance was amazing! I never really liked him much because his performances haven’t been promising, but today he killed it! This was my favorite performance this episode. It was so powerful and full of emotions that Shashank finally was able to let out to us. This was his best performance on DID, but unfortunately it was too late. At least he left in a bang! Anyway, best of luck to Shashank, I’m sure he’ll go places.
2) Kishore –> I loved his performance today! I was stunned watching him dance today because I was finally able to connect with him. The passion and feel he emoted on stage was beautiful. Kishore has no contemporary training, yet he was flawless. Even Terrance had no bad points to say, otherwise we all know he would have mentioned them! He really shocked me today with his strength, emotions, passion and desire to be on DID. Keep it up Kishore!
3) Dharmesh –> Of course Dharmesh is my favorite dancer and it is obvious why.. he is an amazing dancer!!! So what if we have seen this style from him already? Every time he comes on stage, he blows us away. I’m glad Geeta pointed out all the different styles he has already done. Dharmesh does new styles with his partners so even I would rather see his hiphop for his solos…. love it! Love the song he performed on and he is just awesome and humble! He comes in 3rd for me because it was not quite as powerful as Shashanks and Kishores performance, nevertheless, Dharmesh was great.
4) Jack –> He is a cutie! Love how he dances. He has a unique style of dance and even though we have seen him do contemporary and hiphop only so far, he has always been good. I can’t wait to see him in other styles like Bollywood and Latin ballroom. This performance of his was great except I thought the krump segment was a little weak, otherwise awesome performance and perfect ending! I really want to see Jack and Dharmesh perform together.
5) Amrita –> She is such an amazing dancer. I can’t believe Geeta chose that Teena girl over Amrita. That was the stupidest decision on Geeta’s part. Anyway, glad to have her on the show because I strongly believe that she is the best female dancer on thus show. So graceful, strong, passionate, confident and ambitious, which was transparent through this performance. I would love to see her do hiphop! Keep it up girl!
6) Binny –> She is just too cute. I really liked her performance today. It had many great elements from hiphop, pop & lock, freestyle, Bollywood, belly dance, and perfect expressions to go with each dance style. For an untrained dancer, she is amazing. I think she has lots of potential. I think she did the most amount of different dance styles thus far. I can’t wait till each master has a chance to work with all the contestants like last season. I would love to see Binny doing more advanced contemporary with Terrance and hard core hiphop with Remo. Keep up the good work Binny!
7) Kruti –> She is right with Binny with the different styles of dance done thus far. The things is, Kruti finally shined after her classical performance, however she has yet to really leave a mark with other styles. She is always very good, but she needs to be a bit more stronger to leave the other contestants behind. She has yet to give a WOW performance outside of the classical. Either way, I love Kruti and I think her Mudi Mudi performance was very good. The way she flirted with the camera was beautiful and the performance was very flowy. I want to see Kruti and Binny do a “HAWT” performance together. That would rock. Keep going Kruti!
9) Amar –> I love the song he performed on, especially because I love Jay Sean!
Anyway, this was an entertaining performance but I have to agree with Remo that Amar’s beat and choreo were very off synch. This is a very hype song and he could’ve done a lot with it to make it a power packed performance. Of course it’s not his fault. He did what he was given and nonetheless, did a great job. I am kind of tired of seeing him in contemporary, so seeing hiphop from him was a bit refreshing. Please don’t do anymore contemporary Amar! Show us what else ur capable of! Good job.
10) Nikitasha –> No doubt about her performance being very powerful. A lot of it had to do with the song and concept. However, I didn’t like the choreography too much. The way she executed the given choreo was great and her emotions were beautiful, but I didn’t enjoy it too much. I think Tashu has lots of potential and I want to see her do full out Bollywood and contemporary. She needs to have a shining moment which she hasn’t had since her first performance on the show. Keep hope Tashu!
11) Saajan –> I think he will go pretty far in this show, however I didn’t like his performance much for this episode. I felt it was mweak compared to what he is actually capable of. It was definitely very entertaining but I kind of want to see more. He is against so much talent, so he has to really step it up. Well he did just get on the show so I’m sure he will do something more for today’s episode and the future ones. Either way, Saajan is a ball of talent as a b-boy and I’m excited to see this b-boy do more. Good luck Saajan, show us what u got!
12) Shakti –> All I want to say about Shakti is that I am SOOO HAPPY to see her attempting something new! I have been so eager to see her do anything but ballroom/contemporary. Granted, her Upsara performance was not that up to par or memorable, but I enjoyed seeing her do something else. So getting back to this performance, I was disappointed in the choreography. It was very weak and didn’t highlight the capabilities that Shakti can have. Of cource, since this was her first attempt to a new style, simple is better, but this choreo was too repetitive and weak. Also, Shakti needs to loosen up a bit. For an Upsara type performance, you need to have LOTS of grace and perfect posture, which she lacked the entire performance. She is a bit too stiff and just need to loosen up and not think too much, then she will be fine! Thanks Shakti for trying something new! Better luck next time!

I agree with you barring Punit and Binny’s comments..To me punit’s performance deserve a stand above amrita, binny and kruti in your rating as girls were not upto the mark this time..
Since you like writing, it would be great if you can rate masters as well..I think they play a lot with participants in other teams..

Its a pleasure watching DID 2 .. i luv watching dharmesh .. dude iam a big fan of you keep rocking the stage u have your own style which every one (south / north/west/east) india’n loves .. we r wit you buddy..
Regarding Jack .. he is a good dancer of course especially in hip hop .. i dont think he can do gracefully in other styles . eg. bollywood free style .. as per me he is not a complete dancer .. all the best jack ..
coming to terrance .. dude please do concentrate on dance not in stunts.
I hope dharmesh will come back with new style .. keep rocking dude … you are the only deserved to win DID 2 .. of course every one knows..

errrrrrrr love remember Jacky boy do did better than dharmesh, i saw both contestant dance, and i feel that Jacky boy have good chrips & clean move than Dharmesh, i didn’t mean that Dharmesh wasn’t good, but not real good than Jack, jack only have chubby body, otherwise he iz Good.

From Beginning if you have watch show…Geeta ask D sir during audition that who does he really like? And he honestly answer that he likes Remo… Geeta knew from there that he like to be with Remo and he is best in popping and locking….so Geeta should not choose him for her team…she should have cheated on him as he being HONEST.
Ya I watching DID2 from the begining, and when this choice was happend, as i consider this is decided by both Master Side, i mean Remo know very well Remo b4 this Audition. bcoz i saw one video at you-tube, there Dharmesh was performer & Remo as a Guest or judge there. so i feel that Remo already decided with G33ta to choose Dharmesh, this is my personal parception not really sure what is the Story b3hind this. it’s all big Drama behind this, in my opinion both Masterz Cheat Dharmesh. but is this a GAME so they won’t SHOW their real face but play with Dharmesh, he is clam buddy.

Also…English movie is movie not REALITY SHOW. Also popping and locking is Western Dance…Being in India and still learning Western Dance is big achievement than anything. In movies we see Hrithik Roshan doing great dance but he have to perform in Award function why not same clarity we see in his performance like in movie.
YEahh maN, i already told in my previous post about this that In India, people most people never seen such a Dance form in india with some one Indian (Dharmesh), and also he itself a dance teacher, i think just this bcoz Janta Like hiM alot’s. but as i see Dharmesh iz a Simple human being & good personality. i like this thing in a person. this is a + Point in any person have. don’t talk abt Hrithik. he iz awesome dancer bhae.
Jack is doing what he is best in also he just enter to this platform wait and watch how long Terrence let him stay in this show.
But maN Jack have very crips & clean style, his move more fast than Dharmesh, and i expect that kind of Moves or something else from Dharmesh buddy. it’s my personal thought abt him.
You can only judge Jack and D sir if they are in Remo’s team
bcoz both are tough contestant, in my view, so generally i am talk abt them, and yes if they in Remo team, so we surelly Real Entertainment in DID SHOW.
Well, I understand the comments here match with my previuos comments given earlier. Inspite of Dharmesh and Jack, another performer has done well in all episodes. And she is surely Shakti by all means. They are the best three of all.
I must say that Shashank was outstanding and this was one of the most beautiful and powerful performance till now.Had Shashank been given such Choreography before, he would not have been out. His elimination after such a nice performance was very sad.It is obvious that Shashank is a very good Dancer. Best of luck Shashank .
Kruti is such a beautiful and graceful performer and her movements are so clean and light. She is so versatile.
If Jaanta keeps voting like that, we are going to find Saajan in the final
I wish the participants are issued themes to perform in various forms of dance. That should be judged by “THATS CALLED A PERFORMANCE” on voter’s choice.

Geeta mentioned that Shaktis classical dance was so basic. Dunno why she made such comments. Least Shakti attempted and her dance was clean n graceful. As for Binny who did manipuri today, she did not have the opportunity to move much. She was like stuck inside her manipuri costume. we all have wacthed Binny;s performances in the past and this girl is so sweet and fantastic. Wished Geeta will think first before passing remarks.

well Dharmsh & Jacko performace if you compare both doing good performed, but i still mention one thing related to Jacky boy his chrips much better then Dharmesh buddy. i felt that upcoming episode might Jacky boy going ahead from Dharmesh.
