Dance India Dance 24th April Videos

Dance India Dance 24th April was a thriller, So much happening on the stage that no one could take their eyes off. Brilliant performances by the contestants, Rashpal Kaur The blind girl from auditions if you remember, came back on stage to perform her martial art skills. Very emotional scenes in today’s episode as Terence Lewis and Mayuresh announced to donate their eyes. Siddesh Pai gets the highest votes, Lowest voted contestants today were Jai Kumar Nayer, Alisha Singh and Khushboo Prohit. After the host Jai and Saumya revealed the decision, Mithun Da gets upset and he refused to accept the decision from the public respectfully. He used his veto power to bring Khushboo back in the competition.

    I have been watching D I D from day one , never missed a single episode , the competiotn is geting tough week by week , I think all the dancers are great performers , maybe instead of the three master choreograhing the dances all the performers must and should have the ability to perform on thier own dances without the help of the 3 masters , thats when they will prove who has better dancing skills , and then people can judge and give votes , that would be an goood option when DID has the elimination rounds , think about , this option should be for the elimination rounds , and it will prove what they are capable of to prove themeselves

    I don’t agree with priyam. What was wrong with Sunita’s dance on 24th April. She missed only in one instance completing the leg up. I like her dance. What about Jay who forgot the entire sequence. What is special in Salman’s dancing, I could not see any innovative work as great dancer. Performance of Siddesh was to simple nothing special in his dance. But I am extremely delighted with Prince, yes there is innovative in his dance choreography.

    All the mentors and judges are now seems to be biased with Salman only.

    But I will take my own course. I am not going to vote for Salman, my expectation was high from Salman. I will give lots of vote to Prince and Sunita.

    Hi everyone,
    today was a brilliant day wid many good performance, good work people! The issue which destroyed the whole programe, was Mithun’s decision in the end. Let me just say that this is the worst thing i have ever seen on television! U cant actually do that! Its the JANTAS voting, its not ur desicion which will count! U cant just say “veto” and thats it!…and when did they mention that he had allowed to do this so called “veto” thing….? After this episode, many have started to think how bs this program is… If zee tv really wants to enjoy the people they have to do as Janta want they to do!….unfortunatly Khushbo have to leave… Mithun u have to respect Janta, cause its the prog rules, u cant just make ur ownes… The janta is right, Khushbo deserves not to be further in this competition…not because she’s a gurl, but because she dont have the skills…i hope u got it!

    Good luck dancers, u r doin an amazing job out there;)

    khusboo doesn’t deserve to be back.she was the right person to leave,and khusboo if u r reading this,micheal jackson expose nahi karta.khusboo is beautiful but not a beautiful dancer.she got the least votes,for her performance not because she is a girl.at this point on the show,i guess sunita and khusboo should leave.so,mithunda agle do hafte bhi ladkiyan hi eliminate hongi.janta is doing great job.

    MithunDa I am a Big Fan of yours. After watching Dance India Dance I am an even bigger fan. I used to be a look alike of yours when I was young. Originally I am from Mumbai (Bombay). I am residing in Richmond, Virginia (USA) for last 24+ years. I own an Indian Cuisine (Shahi Kitchen) in Richmond, Virginia. On Saturday April 25th, 2009 we were watching your show including our 64 guests in the restaurant. Most of them were Americans. After Mrs. Raspal Singh’s performance when you requested 165 countries’ audience to stand up and salute Mrs. Raspal, believe it or not, each and every one in the Restaurant stood up and gave the respect she deserved. Hat’s off to you MithunDa. I truly believe this is the only honest show on TV screen. All judges are very humble and honest. Keep up the good work. This kind of ethics and unity should be displayed on Indian screen. If i had your e-mail I would definitely written to you directly.

    Have the audience become so dumb, can’t they judge the performance for themselves. What was the entire sequence missed by Jai?

    Is dance competitions now becoming following the text of some script? Choregrapher made his comments…. but I think viewer needs to make his own judgment based entirely on Dance Performance.

    I think that MithunDa mhould have used his veto power to bring Vrushali back and not Khushboo. Would Mithunda have done that if Alisha was eliminated?

    The problem with Sunita is that she is weak compared to the other contestants.All the other contestants are so graceful in their movements. She is not

    The present format appears to be defective. Currently the choreographers have a free licence to decide on the form, content and props to be used. As a result where as one choreographs a pure dance form, the other mentor choreographs a dance mixed with a lot of props and dangerous stunts in it. Since both are two different forms, people remember the one which was different. Thus the one who choreographed the one with stunts and props, if they are properly used they register longer in the minds of the voters. Thus the contestant who gave the pure dance loses out.

    This is more important because the dancers are not choosing the dance style or the form. It is the mentors who are the choreographers.

    This proves that the show is actually judging the choreographers and not the dancers.

    This proves in the episode of 24th – where Prince was shown as a Robot and Salman was given stellar stunt in lifting Alish on one hand, whereas the third contestants were left high and dry in the memory of the voters because they gave a pure dance form.

    Similarly, when Mithun da used his veto, ideally the votes should have been nullified and all contestants should have got to show their talents a new from there. However, by taking the earlier votes into account one of the contestant in whose favour Mithun has exercised his one and only veto is still at a disadvantage.

    I hope my above points will be considered, and the format can still be changed even at this stage. At least the counting of votes prior to the veto should not be considered to give a fair chance to all the contestants.

    When Madhu says Micheal expose nahi karta, she forgets that the dancer has only to follow the choreographer’s instructions. This comment by Madhu and others prove my point that it is a choreographers’ show, and not dancers.

    Salman & Prince are outstanding! Salman is indeed a handsome hunk with superb talents and Prince..ur so cute and all the songs u danced for ..are amazing! I was so impressed with the tissue moves! Siddesh…as Terence said..his performance was filmy but lets see his performance on 25th……the girls..i dun see any outstanding performance in them…unless it was Bhavna or Vrushali!

    Miss P, It is my advice, not to make any comment on the character of contestants. It is platform for DID fan to make their comment about the performance, participant, mentors and anchors. I mean all about what you see in DID show. Behind the scene who is doing what we are not interested.

    ppl are commenting on jai…i think he is the only dancer who has shown everything in the dance show …everytime he performs he does something new….mistakes every one do..but no other master highlights their students mistake other than terrence…n yeah sequence word every 1 is speaking abt….some 1 wrote cant ppl judge performances on their own..cant u other 2 masters could not even notice jai’s mistake…..u heard it from terrence n writing as if u judged it or understood it while he was performing…hadsome_chap n rest u all r fools ..jai is the best dancer here…n he is the only 1 who has escaped red zone so many times ….n mithun da wasted his veto….what if gals are being eliminated..now she asked vote for gals…thry r not being eliminated cos they r gals its just that ppl liked boys more….why doesnt he say name of a guy who could have been eliminated inspite of khushboo..then he says i wont say nethng…jai mayuresh salman prince siddesh too difficult to choose..mithun da himself has this discriminative thinking thts why he did so…veto for khushboo ..wtf!!!not even for prince earlier n not for paulson who wasnt even eliminated for dance… who was only unlucky..paulson alone has not been eliminated cos of his dance …he was 10 on 10 guy everytime he performed but he dint use veto den ..u totally suck…n jai is a gr8 dancer …all others 2 ..n in michael jackson performances..i think khushboo was worst so much overconfident n with so stiff body ..sunita was very good just that she dint look up…also khushboo missed 2 -3 beats which remo dint say but sunita dint miss a beat n so did alisha..n she is so over confident …i hope ppl ignore mithun da’s stupid decision n eliminate the right person and at this stage it should be khushboo or sunita or prince

    well i think mithun da can save khushboo this week but not for next week. khushboo and sunita have to be eliminated because of they still not achieve the standard needed in this competition.i can’t see any improvements from them.. just the same sunita from 1st episode.. plus when she said even she try many times still can’t get it right.. that shows her weakness.. one more time when remo try to defend khushboo by saying alisha used a lot of props that’s why she wins. why don’t he provide her props if he thinks that was the reason? even the moonwalk khushboo can’t challenge alisha.. she’s always the best among girls and second should be vrushali and bhavna. so sad they are not here anymore…
