It seemed like Dharmesh vs Prince throughout the Dance Ke Superstars till the Grand Finale. Prince faulted today in the performance, In the Face Off round Dharmesh was wayyy better and the end result was very deserving team Jalwa from DID Season 2 won. Along with Shiamak Dawar and Remo Dsouza, Marzi Pestonji, Rajeev Surti and Geeta Kapur joined the grand master Mithun Chakraborty in the Grand Finale of Dance Ke Superstars. Awards were given for best group dance, individual performance and other categories, Enjoy the videos.

DID Season 2 won this weekend again but DID Season 1 team was also superb. Dharmesh and Prince showed their full strength and Mayuresh and Punit were excellent in the Face Off. Lara Dutta, Yana Gupta and Vinay Pathak were on stage today to promote their upcoming movie Chalo Dilli. Enjoy the videos.

Team Jalwa which has contestants from DID Season 2 followed them with equally impressive performance (YES Dharmesh Sir is here). Both teams as well have representation from DID Little Masters. Another creative performance by Shiamak Dawar’s group as he appeared on the show as the judge.

About the Show

So the show is going to be 5 week long and every week there will be a new theme selected for the teams. Both of the teams will perform in group, Trio, Duo and Solo Face off performances as well. There will be no elimination, every team will get points from the judges for performances and winning team will be declared after collecting both friday and saturday’s performances.

Vrushali, Bhavna and Alisha performed Krumping on the song Dilli Dilli.

Mayuresh and Bhavna performed Contemporary Dance on the song Mein Agar Kahon.

Atul and Avneet performed Cuban Salsa on the song All is well.

DID Season 2 Team Jalwa performances

Dharmesh, Kishore and Vaishnavi performed Robotics and Hip Hop Dance on the song Kuch Khas Hai.

Punit, Kruti and Amrita performed Freestyle Dance on the song Husn Hai Suhana and Maar Dala.

Parvez and Ruturaj performed Freestyle Dance on the song Pehla Nasha.

At the end all 4 contestants Dharmesh, Binny, Shakti and Punit performed together on the stage (Jugalbandi). As much as we hate to criticize the 3 Masters, I have to admit that Terence Lewis and Remo’s attitude towards Dharmesh was very rude. Kunwar’s best part is contemporary and he showed his memories with Dance India Dance Season2 in his act, Both of the masters praised him. Dharmesh’s best part is popping and freestyle and he showed his journey through his performance and look at the what Remo D’souza and Terence Lewis had to say. It’s a shame that Masters are taking sides on the basis of the team, they should be a role model and encourage every contestant. I hope this backfires on both of them and Dharmesh wins Dance India Dance Season2. Let’s see who is the Dance India Dance Winner for Season2. We will all know on 23rd April Dance India Dance.
