Dance India Dance Contestants Zee Awards

Dharmesh, Shakti, Siddhesh, Binny, Amit, Falon, Bhawna, Parvez, Kunwar Amar, Vaishnavi and Atul put up a huge performance in the Zee Tv Awards. Bollywood stars stood up and clapped for the DID Stars. Shiamak Dawar, Marzi, Mithun Chakraborty and others were also present at the awards. The act was choreographed by the master Shiamak Dawar who said :-
“Putting together an act with the dancers of Dance India Dance is a joy to say the least. When you have talent that is waiting to explode, it is merely about channelizing their strengths in the right direction. I think they outdid themselves at Zee Cine Awards this year.”

DID Contestants performing in Dhamaal Night

Prince, Dharmesh, Mayuresh, Siddhesh and Jai Kumar Nair performed in Desi Dhamaal Night which was a tribute to comedy legends of Bollywood Industry. Just as the upcoming comedy Bollywood film – Double Dhamaal, the night had plenty fun, laugh out loud moments and performances by the ensemble cast of the movie. For the first time on television, stalwarts of the industry were honoured at the event for their contribution as comedians to the world of cinema.

The stars of Double Dhamaal shared the stage alongside television actors like Ragini Khanna, Jay Soni, Mahi Vij, Jay Bhanushali, Shabbir Alhuwalia and the Dance India Dance Contestants. The evening saw everything from stand-up comedy to dance and drama and renowned actors like Kader Khan, Jagdeep, Shakti Kapoor, Johnny Lever among others.

Dance ke Superstars Grand Finale 21st May

Dharmesh and Company did it. It seemed like Dharmesh vs Prince throughout the Dance Ke Superstars till the Grand Finale. Prince faulted today in the performance, In the Face Off round Dharmesh was wayyy better and the end result was very deserving team Jalwa from DID Season 2 won. Along with Shiamak Dawar and Remo Dsouza, Marzi Pestonji, Rajeev Surti and Geeta Kapur joined the grand master Mithun Chakraborty in the Grand Finale of Dance Ke Superstars. Awards were given for best group dance, individual performance and other categories, Enjoy the videos.

Dance India Dance Doubles Finale 9th April

Dance India Dance Doubles Finale 9th April, Amit and Falon earned the Golden Cap. Cornell-Sonali, Saurabh-Vivek, Vikram-Niharika were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th in order. Some really excellent performances from Rajeev Ke Rockers, Geeta Ki Gang and Marzi Ke Mastane, Shweta Salve also performed as well as Jay. Dance Ke Superstars Dharmesh, Prince, Siddhesh and others also rocked the stage. Mithun Chakraborty was good as always at flirting with Geeta and Shweta. An entertaining finale comes to an end as Amit and Falon were announced winners. Enjoy the videos and don’t forget to leave your comments on the show.

Dance Ke Superstars 15th April will have all new format and contestants from DID Season 1 and 2 along with DID Little Masters. We hope its going to rock.

DID Little Masters 30th July Top 4 Contestants

So Dance India Dance Little Masters has got the Final 4 Contestants who will fight for the winner on 7th August DID Little Masters Finale. Today’s episode features a superb performance by all the contestants together on the song Dhoom. Khushboo has yet not recovered and has been eliminated from the show so is Amrita as a skipper as she had only one contestant left. Manoj Rathod was the highest voted contestant this week. Ruturaj has been voted out and now we have Atul, Manoj, Jeetumoni and Vaishnavi to compete against each other for the winner of DID Little Masters. Sandeep announces free training for 3 years for all Top 5 contestants in any branch of his dance schools throughout India.

Great episode today! A lot of wonderful performances! The masters came to support their favorite teams -Terence for Jai, Vrushali, and Mayuresh, Geeta for Amrita, and Remo for Dharmesh

DID Little Masters 23rd July Highlights

Manoj from Vrushali-Mayuresh’s team performed Freestyle on ‘Jaane Kyun Dil Chahta Hai’ with a chair as a prop.

Vatsal from Amrita’s team performed Contemporary on ‘Beete Lamhe’ with a cloth rack as a prop.

Vaishnavi from Dharmesh’s team performed Aerial Ladder on ‘Zara Zara’ with a ladder as a prop.

Atul from Jai’s team performed Aerial Ring & Contemporary on ’Give Me Some Sunshine’ with a ring as a prop.

Jeetumoni from Dharmesh’s team performed Freestyle on ‘Na Tum Jaano Na Hum’ with a turn table rotating metal pole) as a prop.

Ruturaj from Dharmesh’s team performed Freestyle on ‘Apni to Naiyaa’ with a trolley as a prop.

Jeetumoni is the highest voted contestant (with Atul getting the second highest vote).

Vaishnavi gets performance of the day.

Bottom 3 were Ruturaj, Vaishnavi, and Vatsal. Vatsal got the least votes this week and was eliminated.

It’s unknown whether Amrita will stay or not, since she now has no contestants. Kushboo has not yet been declared fit to perform by the doctor.

The Grand Finale is confirmed to be held on August 7th in Pune.

Alright kiddos, by popular demand, we’re bringing spoiler posts back!

I haven’t seen a release on who is eliminated just yet, but I’ll update the post later when I find it.

If you discuss the spoiler anywhere else, I’ll pull it down until after the weekend show airs…. SO DON’T DO IT! You can talk about it all you like here, though

Edit: I am seeing that Vatsal is eliminated, Jeetumoni is the highest voted contestant, and Mayuresh and Vrushali got Skipper of the Week again.

Edit July 20th, 2010: Official release!

“Dance India Dance L’il Masters is reaching its finale and the coming episode is considered as one of the best episodes so far atleast performance wise.

In this episode, all the three mentors of Dance India Dance – Remo, Geeta and Terence are joined by celebrities Prachi Desai and Emraan Hashmi. Prachi and Emraan had come to promote their upcoming film Once Upon a Time in Mumbai.

All the skippers did creative acts in the episode. But unfortunately it was a bad day for Vatsal from Amrita’s team and his elimination has moved Amrita out from the competition. The one other person from Amrita’s team, Khushboo has still not recovered from her fractured hand to perform.

‘Best skipper of the week’ title was awarded to all the mentors- Jai, Mayuresh – Vrushali and Dharmesh [AnnieJ wonders why Amrita isn't mentioned!] and ‘Best performer of the week’ title was awarded to Vaishnavi. The episode will be telecasted this Saturday.

A little birdie informs us that the grand finale will be held in Pune on the 7th of August.

Remo D’Souza is the guest judge for this weekend on Dance India Dance Little Masters. 2nd July DID Lil Masters saw one elimination and Vatsal comes back in the show to Amrita’s Team as Khushboo is unable to continue for few weeks. Vatsal was selected by Mithun Chakraborty on the basis of Wild Card Round, as he was the 3rd highest voted contestant. I loved Jeetumoni & Papiya’s performances today, there were some other good ones you must watch the show to find out
