Just got the news confirmed from my friend at DID..
Dharmesh and Meenu are the eliminations this week…

Pretty sad that Dharmesh has to pay for Maaa’s lack of ability..

as for meenu..the DID people didnt want a repeat of last time wherein Remo had most of his flock intact while Geeta and Terrance had suffered losses.. hence this time on the plan is keep a level playing field.. So Meenu’s eviction is more on account of politics then performance

Geeta should reconsider her coreography level!
If Dharmesh had himself coreographed his song than he surely would still had been in DID.

Elimination of Dharmesh at ‘this point’ is just to add a bit grey shade in the story of DID. He is the best!!! and as long as he is in the show, there can be no competition at all. I am sure even if Dharmesh gets eliminated at ‘this point’ he will be brought back at some ‘later’ stage because show can not afford to be without him. And yes, proudy Geeta kapoor does not deserve to be his mentor. (ohh God! please make her understand this).

I am seriously happy not becuz Dharmesh is out but i think only those pple should survive in the game who are actually performing something new and trying out new variations.. I am sure DID will get Dharmesh back through some stunt and i would appreciate if that happens. But i want Shakti to be out now.. cuz she is not trying anythin new apart from contemporary.. Such pple dont deserve to be in the contest. Terence are you listening stop mollycoddling her now.. enuf is enuf.. you wont find audiences for DID 3 otherwise.

It is shocking as Dharmesh was a good dancer… But again… he wasn’t trying too many styles and was limited.. The blame there lies with Geeta of course but considering the competition… its pretty fair… I wish he comes back and somehow goes in Remo’s group this time…He’ll use him far better..

As for Meenu… its pretty sad.. She was talented and was trying really hard.. She was versatile as well… Hope she comes back in Wild card round..

1. I just can’t understand why there is such a hue and cry about the elimination of Dharmesh. He is the most unnecessarily hyped contestant of DID. He is indeed a very good dancer when it comes to hip-hop and bollywood style. But before concluding that the decision is unfair and etc. etc. one should wait for the performances by other contestants put in the danger zone. May be its just a bad day for Dharmesh, coz even Tendulkar gets out for a Duck!

# I just wonder if Dharmesh is so good why he is in Danger Zone? I mean Kishore is no match for Dharmesh… so?? Again Geeta ruined Dharmesh’s career by her stupid gamble.

2. Now the point of versatility. Yes, I agree with the fact that we all badly want to see Shakti out of her contemporary mettle but if that’s the point then don’t you think that Dharmesh should also try a bit of contemporary??

3. Now the point of indulging the favorite student to play it safe by performing their own particular style by the judges. Yes, I am also upset about Terence’s decision regarding Shakti (that is performing contemporary everytime) but I guess he learnt it from Remo (remember? Prince’s Locking and Poping throughout the DID1?)

Before, I didn’t believe that most of the Zee program are scripted. However, after looking this result in Dance India Dance 2, I believe what people are saying.

There was only one quality dancer named “Dharmesh” and all three judges are threatened by his quality dance and eliminated him together with his student “Meenu”.

How sad, I guess life is not fare on Zee. Shame on you three dance master … specially Mithun (so called head master).

I still consider “Dhamesh ‘Sir’” next big things after prabhu Dewa.

If Zee executive is reading this, please be fair and bring this “Intelligence” dancer back to DID-2.

Seems the info is correct. If you see, the picture of the contestants on the top of this page, you find Dharmesh’s picture in black and white – which means he is eliminated. All colored pictures are contestants in the game.

Mithun also proved himself the best “Gawar”. He does not need to do it because he is.

Why do people doing like its the end of the world if Dharmesh get eliminated, he can be a good dancer, bt stop doing as if the others are not good.
he mgt b a teacher, bt do tht mean teachers r so perfect- then there wont b any students crying for not going thru an exams in the world.
If people dont want to watch the show if Dharmesh is out, then good for them, they can stop. But that dont mean that no one else will watch.

I personally dont feel that gaining the taqdeer ki topi is such a big thing as take Mohamad Ghouse for example, apart from an appearance in the promo of Wanted, did he get seen anywhere??? but yes, i still remember Alisha performance dancing on michael jackson team, or Mayuresh blind performance or Prince performance with the tissue paper. bt none of Ghouse performance is easily remembered.

this is for Dharmesh if he is reading this- there is no failures in life, just experiences. this is just an experience that ur body n soul is undergoing n if u have the will to succeed, then nobody can stop u from becoming the best choegrapher in the world, the most popular dancer n someone who everyone will admire. Everythg depend on ur will power, thats all. Be humble and express gratitude n u wil go a long way man in ur life.

Many pple r saying that Dharmesh didn’t try other dance forms apart from Hip-hop. Then what was that dance form he performed along with Binny and Kishore on last friday? Wasn’t that salsa and wasn’t that the best performance of that day. What was Prince doing throughout DiD-1 last year. Was he versatile.
If ppl r talking abt solo perormances than they should also remember the number of solo he has performed. Also, “what” a contestant is going to perform is decided by “master”.I think, Dharmesh wouldn’t have to go through all this, had he been in Remo’s team.

@komal89: You misunderstood something. No one is asking you (how come someone can?) to stop watching the show, its just that Dharmesh’s fans are feeling sad and they are expressing “their” feelings.

Some people are saying that Dharmesh should perform other dance forms aswell but remember he is a talented coreographer aswell.
I don,t think that if he is given a chance by the mentors to perform other dance forms he will be a disappointment. You can yourself pick out when he performs that, how perfection and clarity he has! And no one else matches it even when they perform on their mastered dance forms.(4 Komal and others).
It’s not about being sad but decision of his elimination lowers the status of DID, which is seen as the best dance competition among the best out of the bests dancers of the country.
So! DID pls give us a real show of extremely talented dancers and “don’t spoil the respect for its highest standard & level among its fans!”

Contestants who are doing only stunts are remaining back and rest all good talents are getting eliminated.
Guys understand this is "Dance India Dance" & not "Stunt India Stunt"
(Terence only concentrate on stunts – like hanging on the rings, walls or wires. Where is dance buddy). And Dharmesh is the only one guy who use to do dance.

For those who are saying that dharmesh is not trying different style –
Here it is not Dharmesh's falut. Geetha lacks with her choreography and ability. It is his bad luck that he is in Geetha's TEAM.

If Dharmesh is gone – then for me watching a show without talent is stupidity. Sitting in US and watching Zee TV online just becoz of dharmesh man.
If he is eliminated, then that is for sure everything thing is so bloody scripted. I feel really really bad for Dharmesh. (Just for TRP how can u play with his feeling)

And guys, how is this possible, even if dharmesh is back form Wild card entry, how he can be moved to Remo's team. That is logically not possible. Geetha is so selfish buffalo woman, she wont let it happen.

Dharmesh sir as everyone calls him, but the dance he did on the 31st hurt me very much. Geetha madam should not have given him the idea of doing what he did.Or she did it on purpose that Darmesh gets eleminated . cause he could not dance at all.

The dance form is from Kerala it is also there in the temples of south kanara. And mainly its not a dance form or a dance at all. The person who does this kind of act goes into trance as god embrases him and makes him do this act. I think master Terence knows the real value act. I dont know why people insult our tradition so much .

  I know Thayyam a little bit because my friend who is from North Kerala and he also performed Thayyam once. It is not actually a Dance but a performance to eliminate all evil forces. It need a lot of dedication and body balance and at the peak of the time the performer’s mental state went above normal and performers even went above the ground when they make rotation with high speed. It is a very tough performance and it requires a lot dedication,devotion and concentration and it should be performed with great respect. My friend also watch DID and says that he appreciate Geeta to take this dare risk and he was also sure that nobody but Dharmesh from all the other contestants can do this. The only flaw in this was the picking up of wrong song and that has no synchronization with the performance. Dharmesh’s elimination is very sad for me as I use to sit just for him only. So, now Punit, parvez and Shakti are the other persons to watch out. COME BACK DHARMESH, WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU.

How can a talent like Dharmesh be eleminated so smoothly.
How can Mithunda ignore Dharmesh’s previous performances where he outperformed everyone.
How can Kishore and Shashank be inn and Dharmesh out.
Mithunda made the same mistake earlier by eliminating Ameeth.
If my voice can reach to DID2 organizers,i want to know ,What the hell is going in DID2 , and what more they expect from viewers.I have totally lost hope from this year season and will better not watch it than viewing lesser deserving contestants climbing up the ladder,and i am sure people who are following DID2 from the beginning have to agree with me.

Lots of positive and negative comments only for their favourites. And I feel that the judges sitting over there are too experienced that too they have gain lots of expertise in their field for e.g Remo in Hip Hop , Terence in Contemporary and last but not the least Geeta in Classical……and their judgement is performance based not on favouratism…….

I am really disappointed by the quality of DID from last two weeks. The show is really becoming boring and more of a celebrity show with lots of break and less dances. Amitabh show’s promos was really good and we thought that it would be good. But it was biggest let down, there was no fun as shown in promos and it was more of praises for big’b and dada by everybody. Also dancers/everybody were just floored by his presence.

Second and more disappointing factor is the way show is going. there is really no competition happening there. And the way selections are being made , it does not look fair at all and it all depend on the luck or which song dance form u have chosen at that time. You really cant compare with someone expert in classic with someone who is just trying it or a new form with one week of training ( like in case of dharmesh ).
I want to bring some points and suggestion.

1. First there should not be different teams with master’s. it then becomes, contestant’s luck in which group they belongs.
2. for every week there should be a theme/dance form so that all are judged on that dance form. This way we can see who has really learnt well ( if its not their style) and how good they are. If someone is really expert/trained in that style he/she might skip voting for that round.
3. public voting should start from top 18/12 itself.
4. for every weeks, all three master should prepare dance with everyone( group or solo) on the given theme ( or different theme per master to have some variety)

I hope this feedback would be usefull to make this show really successful, otherwise it would loose its charm.

@Komal … What kind of pathetic person are you. Why can't you atleast appreciate talent. If everybody is recognizing "Dharmesh" talent, why do you have to go against. I don't mean to say that thare aren't other good dancer in DID-2 but "Dharmesh" is "par excellence" and live with that …

As per some other post: they have also recognize "Dharmesh" is a versatile dancer with "exceptional talent" on hip hop… and his move is crystal clean….

from beginning the decisions are not right(when dancer like melvin is not chosen)

also there is a fact they are trying to follow the DID-1 where prince got eliminated first and then got entry with a wildcard

I completely agree with you Tarun on the point that if one person who had to be there at top 18 from the 36 was MELVIN.Atleast he deserved in place of Kishore or Teena.

All the contestants are good and its all about who performed better that particular day. Why is it so difficult for Dharmesh supporters to understand. without even looking at the performances , how can anyone say Dharmesh elimination is not fair. It may be that he did not perform well that particular day. Vandana did not perform well that particular day and got eliminated right. Same with Dharmesh and Meenu.
Frankly I never saw any jaw dropping performances from any contestant so far including Dharmesh. wait and watch the performances bfore giving comments.

srini i completly aggry with u . dharmesh ke pyaar me itna na bahko yaroo. pata hai dharhesh is toooooooooo good but that particular day he fail to satisfy mithun da even i also thik that was not up to mark . other do far good . muzhe bhi pata hai ki dharmesh vapas aayege aur agar sms ke upar hi jeetna hai to dharmesh hi jitega. itne fans jo hai yaha sms karne ko bekarar…….. far mujhe lagta hai apni apni rai ham apne pas hi rakhte hai aur compitation me dance ka maja lete hai. best luck to all.

@ srini, i really don’t know what is your problem with Dharmesh. C’mmon take it, he is an ourstanding dancer.
If you could see the audition you will get to know where he himself did the choreography and rest all dances are choreographed by Geetha MMAAAA (such a buffalo woman).

That’s why more than 98.99% of blog writers thinks that DHARMESH ROCKS !!!

Contestants who are doing only stunts are remaining back and rest all good talents are getting eliminated.
Guys understand this is “Dance India Dance” & not “Stunt India Stunt”
(Terence only concentrate on stunts – like hanging on the rings, walls or wires. Where is dance buddy). And Dharmesh is the only one guy who use to do dance.

For those who are saying that dharmesh is not trying different style –
Here it is not Dharmesh’s falut. Geetha lacks with her choreography and ability. It is his bad luck that he is in Geetha’s TEAM.

Poor Dharmesh I REALY HOPE THAT HE LL COME BACK bcoz he didnt had the chance to show his talent and the only person who can teach and show improvement in dahrmeshs style is REMO.

Geeta is a typical bollywood choreographer and we all know how many choreographers are sacrificing in bollywood, if you just compare all three masters we all should say yes GEETA is VERY weak, so everyone who is in her TEAM I realy feal sorry for this person.

If you see Remos or Terences choreographies you have most of the time this “WOW” effect, if I think about Geetas choreographies I remeber one or two in bouth seasons.

SO IF WE WANT EQUAL CHANCES FOR EVERY DANCER IN DID WE NEED A NEW MASTER, I REALLY FEEL SORRY FOR HER BCOZ AFTER DID EVERYBODY REALISED THAT GEETA IS NOT A GOOD CHOREOGRAPHER.

I am totally agree with ppl who say that Dharmesh was one of the best dancer in DID2. I personally think that he didnt get a chance to prove that he is a versatile. He has probably given a weak choreography by Geeta and it’s not his fault at all but sadly he paid for it. He should not be eliminated from the show. Perhaps, he has given a chance to come back in remo’s team as he wanted to be a part of Rangeelays from day 1. He is my favorite and if ppl blaming him for not doing different style, they should see his ratings and last week’s solo performance and that’s why everyone wants him to win DID2. Another thing, if those of you who are putting a blame on this poor fellow that he wasnt verstaile, i think you better compare him with others coz they are doing nothing differntly. Everybody sticks to the style that they feel more comfortable performing and what they know better. So plzz dont blame him. I was expecting to see a better performances in DID2 but i guess DID1 was much better than DID2 coz actually every master tried to use different dance forms and techniques in DID1. So, I am hoping to see Dharmesh’s return and wants him to be a part of either Remo or Terrence team (not Geeta of course). He was such a down-to-earth person and a brilliant dancer that i m feeling so sad for his elimination .

My 1st Comment on this forum . i have been watch this Show Since DID 1. 1st Session was supperb. NOW this session also Good, but this Time Terrence maN lead better then Remo Ghabbar Singh . abt Geeta, i just have to say i like Her Acting her Face impression btw program goes , female mostly Roto hi hoti hy pPp. so i just enjoy her act. now come to the contents, Darmesh no doubt he is Good but i feel he is not much good in other dance form, might i wrong. but i didn’t see his different dance style till yet. we want his more DANCE. not much crop as he use or Geeta ma (lol) give him. if he will back through WILD card but i am not sure he will come back . bcoz if he came back so he is still going to Geeta MAAAAAAAA Gang Once again, coz of DID Rules, i saw this comment one DID2 stating program, i think Mathun Said this. but c what is haPPend NEXT Day .

I just said that don’t tag it as a bad decision because we should all wait for the other performances of the contestants put in the Dance ki Kasauti. I said that may be its just a bad day for Dharmesh. But I strongly believe that DHARMESH IS AN UNNECESSARILY MOST HYPED CONTESTANT OF DID. I mean to say itna hype to Salman, Jai or Mayuresh k liye bhi nahi thaa yaar but they are 100 times better that Dharmesh at any given time and in any given Style (though I doubt for Salman). The DID viewers have already seen better talents and better performances in both the seasons. The bottom line is its a dance show, jo achha perform karega wohi rahega. And if we talk about Dharmesh’s performances, I cannot remember any except his first audition performances which I think was mindblowing. And frankly speaking after that he failed to impress me.

And when any contestant get overly hyped, wat happens the other contestants have to fight not only with his talent but also with the hype even they are 10 times better than the hyped contestants and which I think is very very unfair

# BTW it hardly matters what I think and appreciate. And yes for sure if its a viewer’s poll, Dharmesh will eventually land up as winner. Public to public hai…. other wise how any one can prefer Salman over Jai and Alisha And see Jai, Alisha, Mayuresh are going places after the show, ne newz on salman? any one..??

good if salman is not seen in the shows. i beleive he is concentrating on his studies. if he is then good. i heard he is a good student. he is doing what he should.

dharmesh is far better dancer than all the three finalists of DID1. none of the masters wowed like they did for dharmesh in the auditions. yes i agree dharmesh did not perform up to expectations after that but may be his mentor is the reason. some times when they get students who proove to be better than them their ego is hurt and then it ruins everything………..

GEETA… some dance forms take years of training and practice and then to be presented on stage.
YOU COULD HAVE SELECTED A DANCE FORM THAT DHARMESH COULD HAVE MANAGED.

YOU TOOK TO EXTREME MEASURES & RISKS BECAUSE THE STYLE IS DIFFERENT… BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT DID NOT DEPEND ON THAT. IT DEPENDED ON HOW THE STYLE OF DANCE WOULD BE PERFORMED.

YOU HAD TAKEN HIM FOR GRANTED BECAUSE HE WAS SO GOOD. FOR THIS GAMBLING OF YOURS … YOU HAD TO PAY A HEAVY PRICE … ” DHARMESH “.

GEETA … GET REAL & GROW UP.

It was an unfair decission… According to the Saturday’s performance..as Remo Sir said.. Kunwar and Binny should have gone… because they did make a lot of mistakes..
Its true to a n extent that Dharmesh’s performance was not upto his usual standard, but thats Geeta’s fault.. What Dharmesh performed wasn’t his style and he had to completely rely on Geeta… So it was totally upto Geeta to make it stand out.. and i agree with terrance.. the choice of song was bad for this performance.. I’ve seen Thayyam performances and I agree that this didn’t create the magic it usually does create.. but again.. thats geeta’s fault..
but again.. the judgement should really be made on who has performed the dance flawlessly (without seeing how impressive the choreography was as that isn’t the contestant’s fault)

its obvious that dharmesh will be back in the wild card round.. i sincerely hope he goes to remo’s group then… i’m sure he’ll do extremely well there..

Geeta seems to have an extra terrestrial logic, which is both strange and peculiar. I mean what a blunder she made experimenting with Darmesh. Sadly it seems Geeta ma is a hopeless choreographer and I can bet she can’t even dance even if her life depended on it. For the past few episodes all that she has come out with are foolish circus antics and nothing else, she should seriously think of joining a circus. I feel the show has lost its charm now. At least my family members and I are not going to waste our precious time watching the show anymore.
