With Season 2 of Dance India Dance just around the corner, Terrence Lewis is on a mission. The dance master is discovering various forms of dance that he can incorporate in the show. And guess where this guy has landed on his mission? The Rambo Circus in Bandra!
Sounds hilarious but Terrence admitted that he always wanted to get into a circus and find out if any of their acrobatic techniques can be incorporated as a dance form. “Last month I had gone to meet a friend in Bandra when I came across this poster on a wall. I told my friend, why don’t we go inside the circus and find out a few things, and my friend said, ‘Why not?’ So I went inside the circus and told them that I need to learn a few things from them. They seemed more than happy to share their tricks of the trade with me,” says Terrence. According to Terrence, he will assimilate all his ‘findings’ in coining new dance forms for Zee TV’s Dance India Dance.
“These new dance forms will add variety to the show and will also help the audience as well as the participants learn something from my findings. But if you think that it was only the Mumbai circus that helped me to figure out new dance forms then you are wrong. I also went to Canada to see the Cirque Du Soleil in Toronto. That is a French name but it is also a circus. Trust me, I have learnt some amazing moves from this circus guys,” he adds.
In his quest for newer dance moves, Terrence has also spent the last four months
attending the Blueman act in London.
Terrance it’s just wonderful that you are going to places like Canada and London just for Dance India Dance i love your choreography and hope your team wins this time in season 2.
best of luck terrence you really chereograph well love u …………..
Terence, you are the BESTESTEST!!!!!!!!!!!!! No one can match you, and your toli is the best on DID!!! You are an awesome master, dancer, choreographer, judge and above all, a gem of a person!!!!!!!!! Looking forward to seeing more wonderful choreography from you, and also hoping, wishing and praying that your toli will win this season, as you deserve it by all means, and always deserved it!!! I watch DID only because of you, as you always seem to have surprises in your numbers that catch my full attention! The reason DID got rated high is because of your work, otherwise it would have been just like another dance reality show… TC, Terence.
can someone please tell me if he is married?
terence i lv ur dance style want u to win
geeta was very rude with terrence today
she is soo mean she cant bare any negetive coment against her contestants. she dont deserve to be in dance india dance
Hello Sir
Terrence Lewis
I want to dance you on the stage of DID.
Please make my wish come true.
i really admire ur hardwork and truly wish that u win this season
Some times i feel DID is searching for well trained dancer which looks like rewarding the teacher of that dancers.
I wish DID will end up with its real aim ..i.e searching a talented, hard and smart working..a quick learner, talented dancer.
No doubt dat terence is bst of all.His judging is really d best of all.Whenevr he give negetive points of geeta’s gang, she never accepts dem(she must hav sometimes). One thing i like abt terence is dat he encourages the contestants and and den he points out der mistake in positive attitude.Remo also points out bt he becmes harsh…His simplicity is boundless…
I agree with above comments
I love all three choreographer but Terrence is the best and Shakti is the best dancer in season 2.
