Dharmesh Sir, Mayuresh-Vrushali, Amrita Mitra, and Jay Kumar Nair have been spending their time rehearsing with Dance India Dance‘s super-talented Little Masters. It appears that they have become quite attached to them, and they pleaded with the judges, Farah Khan and Sandip Soparrkar, to not eliminate them quite yet.
Dharmesh Sir said, “We felt that it’s perhaps a little too soon for the kids to face disappointment. Besides, the kids are all brilliant. So it would be painful to see any of them go!”
Unfortunately, it seems the pleas have fallen on deaf ears. Farah Khan emphasized, “Well, a show is a show. And if there is a format, we’ll have to stick to it.”
To be fair, the channel is doing its part to make sure the kids are happy and in good spirits. There is a play area on the sets of DID L’il Masters complete with books, toys, and board games to keep the kids engaged and entertained. Moreover, shooting schedules are followed strictly – they have no intention to over-strain the kids! Naturally, they are working to ensure that the kids also remain healthy, and to that end, no smoking is permitted on the sets, and junk food (soda and the like) is also a no-no!
Hopefully, the kids will exhibit good sportsmanship and not take eliminations personally. They will surely enjoy their time on the show while it lasts!
